Simple Basics of National Unity

We cannot take our racial and religious harmony for granted. Some of the very basic and simple principles to preserve our national unity that our nation's politics had yet to mature:

1) All racial and religious groups must exercise tolerance and restraint.

2) We must keep religion separate from politics and governance.

3) The constitution and the government have to remain secular.

4) Maintain our common space that all Malaysians share.

If our nation's government can adopt the above four basic principles without any hesitation, Malaysia would have belongs to all Malaysians today.

However, we are still far from being a real nation. Thanks to Umno and its supreme order.
