MMSP leaders are now sacking each other

Recently, the Malaysian Makkal Sakti Party (MMSP) deputy president A.Vathemurthy announced that his "central committee" consist of 14 members had met and decided to expel its party president RS Thanenthiran from the party and would appoint a new party president soon.

But today, the "expelled" party president who had just returned from Chennai, India this morning that, his other "central committee" had also removed Vathemurthy and the 14 others from the party membership.

MMSP was launched by BN chairman and prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak on 27 October 2009 last year had since embroiled in a leadership crisis where a faction led by its deputy president had decided to revolt against the party president for alleged tarnishing the party's image.

Actually, what is the objective of the formation of MMSP? You are just three months old and still immature in politics and now you are already fighting among yourselves. The MMSP leaders had forgotten their original roots from their days in Hindraf that is to fight for the betterment of the Malaysian Indian community following the failure of the other Indian based political parties to do so.

It seems the factional fighting in MMSP had also disappoint Najib who is believed to be looking for an alternative Indian based party to take the role of MIC following the its failure to garner the community support for the BN in the last general elections in March 2008.
