Pakatan Rakyat need to strengthen its security
Until today we are still seeing how Pakatan Rakyat been threatened with series of possible defections and talks of its MPs or state assemblymen intending to cross over to BN or Umno.
Some say Umno is currently holding secret talks with Pakatan MPs and state assemblymen on the compensations and benefits, should they decided to cross over and so on. The bigger examples in Perak is over and now it is coming over to Selangor and Penang, the two most industrialized states that the BN and Umno are planning to retake at any cost, even if they have to resort with another few more coup d'etats.
What now? Why is it happening? One very simple answer. Pakatan Rakyat is still lack of political security to govern and to ensure its coalition and organizations are intact and secure. The current Pakatan structure does not have a proper institution tasked with overseeing the political security of their coalition and the states that they are currently governing.
You can compare the current strength that BN and Umno has now. They are well-informed, aware and cautiously on alert of the current political situation, which includes that of Pakatan's inside affairs. How did they know all these?
Yes, eventhough they are being defeated in five states in the last general elections, but they are still strong, in terms of political security, espionage, intelligence gatherings and various spying cells nationwide to help them conduct resistance from within.
They have the police special branch, the MACC and possibilities of the army, navy and air force intelligence corps are also being used to assist BN and Umno to affirm their political will and powers in this nation even if some of the states are governed by Pakatan Rakyat.
Therefore, we wish to remind Pakatan Rakyat leaders, there is no point for you to tell the public that BN and Umno leaders are trying to court your MPs and state assemblymen to cross over as this will only further expose the weakness that currently Pakatan Rakyat is suffering from.
In fact, based on the Perak experience, Pakatan Rakyat leaders ought to have learn their lessons but todate, most of them are still lack of alertness in the political security of their respective organizations and structures. To make thing worst, none of the component parties in the Pakatan Rakyat realize the need of a new structured political security force of their own in order to ensure their political survival in our nation and to battle the BN-Umno political onslaughts from time to time.
This is a wake up call again for Pakatan Rakyat leaders. You are new to governance and political administrations, but you have vast experience in party politics for decades and we are telling you that all these are still insufficient to ensure your basic political survival. Pakatan Rakyat need to establish a structured political security force of their own.
This message is not only from us but it is also from all Malaysians who had voted for Pakatan Rakyat in the last general elections. Do not disappoint these people.
We urge you to act now!
