MACC and police should realize their misdeeds

The Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) and the police force should realize their current misdeeds, mismanagement and improper conducts when they are discharging their duties and should not blame the bloggers for tarnishing the image and reputation of the MACC and the police.

The fact that is the MACC and the police were the ones who had being tarnishing their own image and reputation all these while for not being impartial and apolitical when discharging their duties and responsibilities.

There are numeruous examples and quotes that clearly shows that they are not doing what they were supposed to do and behaved one-sided in their investigations, arrests and other actions.

When Barisan and Umno politicians were reported to had swindled millions of ringgit of public funds, no action nor investigation were initiated against those culprits from the ruling elites, but if there is, the investigation was a minor one and it was never intensify at all.

But when officials and politicians from the Pakatan Rakyat were rumored to have this and that, here and there, the MACC and the police are quick to step in to ensure they get an arrest warrant first to nab these Pakatan people even if there are no concrete evidence of any wrongdoings.

What about those palaces, mansions, illegal fund transfers, illegal loggings or maybe even smuggling activities owned and undertaken by those Barisan and Umno politicians and their top leaders as well. You only open an investigation for a day or two and then close the cases citing insufficient evidence to further investigate.

But in the case of Pakatan politicians and their leaders, you are quick to ambush their offices and arresting them even when the evidence are not even existing, and you only got a warrant only after you arrest them.

When Umno staged a coup d'etat in Perak to toppled the state government there, the police did nothing to prevent it but instead supported the rebel state government established by Umno. When churches and a sikh temple were bombed and burned down by terrorists, the police told them they did not have sufficient manpower to provide security for these places of worship.

As the result, more churches are being attacked and the police just came in to take down some statements and left the scene after that. They did not step up measures to prevent such impending attacks.

But the police got more than a sufficient workforce in the special branch nationwide to organize crackdown on peaceful opposition, human rights activities and even send some agents into the DAP National Convention in Ipoh to spy on their close-door proceedings.

The MACC and police misdeeds are just too many to be listed down entirely. The people knew it and they are always remembering it. And when the day comes, the people shall again venge their anger and frustrations on the ballot paper during polling day.

To cut short on what are all these about, we are going straight to the point: the MACC and the police are serving to advance the interest of the Barisan Nasional and Umno. The MACC and the police are never with the people to uphold justice, equality, democracy and freedom.

Do not blame us but yourself.
