More churches attacked in Perak, Melaka and Sarawak, next target?

Despite assurance from the home ministry and the police force that they will go after the terrorist groups who attacked the churches with bombs, more and more churches are being attacked with the latest happened in Perak, Melaka and Sarawak, but so far, no casualties were reported.

According to the home minister and the nation's police chief, the ISA will be used against those who are responsible for the bomb attacks on the churches but todate, no action nor arrest were carried out, which reflects the ieffectiveness of the security administration in this country.

Even the Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan had earlier pushed the security burden back to the respective churches reasoning that the police's lack of manpower to ensure the safety of all churches.

The police had thousands of men attached to the special branch to undertake the political security for Umno leaders and the BN federal government machineries but they are lack of manpower and resources to ensure the security and safety of the public.

When Pakatan Rakyat component parties like PKR, DAP and PAS organised activities and events which are benefiting the people and to create public awareness, the police are quick to come in battalions and regiments to curb the gatherings and events by reasoning that these activities are a threat to national security.

By mentioning lack of manpower to ensure the security of these churches, does the home ministry and the police mean that such threats are in no harm to the country's national security?

Furthermore, the home ministry and the police had earlier claimed that their intelligence apparatus are technically sufficient and strong to curb any threat against the country and public security, but these church bombings had by now extended even to Sarawak.

So, where are their sophisticated intelligence technicalities which they had boasted in public before this? All these technicalities has been concentrated at the political side? The people are waiting for their explanations over the security lapsed in our country.

If these continues, it will further undermine our nation's economy and the foreign direct investments as well as the welfare of our people.

Just exactly where is the direction of our country now?
