Surau committee suspended, MP sternly warned
Hey! What is wrong with the situation? Is it sinful for the surau committee to invite a non-Muslim member of parliament to attend the surau's function? Is it sinful for Muslims to accept or receive gifts and donations from a non-Muslim parliamentarian? Is it wrong for Nie Ching, who in her official capacity as a wakil rakyat to attend an official Islamic function of which she was invited? And is it wrong as a guest of honour, Nie Ching gave a speech in the surau?
So, can any of the Islamic scholars please explain is it a sin and wrongful for Muslims to invite their non-Muslim friends or dignitaries into mosques or suraus to attend their official functions or events? That means, non-Muslims cannot step into mosques or suraus even if they are invited?
Kindly elaborate and explain which part of the Holy Quran verses say so? Kindly enlighten us on this. After that PM Najib, please instruct your so-called JAKIM to issue a fatwa blanket ban of non-Muslims from entering all your mosques and suraus as well as to prevent all Muslims from inviting their non-Muslim friends to Islamic functions or events. Kindly draw us a clear border line onto this so that you are able to split the entire communities at large. Is this 1Malaysia anyway?
Just because some morons from the Umno and Utusan Malaysia newspaper made some bullshit claims in their reports and politicize the entire situation, the Ruler got murka blindly and MAIS made their decisions blindly to have the entire affected surau committee suspended for nothing.
And in the end this poor innocent lady named Teo Nie Ching got the blame for it because according to Umno and Utusan, this lady who is a non-Muslim entered the surau and tainted it with her hands and legs (of a surely non-Muslim). The surau committee had been suspended now because the entire building is now dirty and MAIS had been instructed to wash and clean it.
What kind of idiotic 1Malaysia policy is this?
