The AG, inquest fooled us and made a "sandiwara" out of it

It is already one year plus now and the government appointed magistrate inquest has yet to resolve the Teoh Beng Hock's murder case and all those murderers are still happily walking free out there.

The federal appointed forensic experts also kept on giving conflicting and confusing views and advice on the victim's condition and had on several occasion denied the rights of the victim's family to have their own forensic expert to examine the case.

And recently, we learned that the attorney-general had actually withholding one of the major evidence away from the inquest. What the hell is this? And if the AG says that he is not aware that those evidence were withheld at his chambers, then he should immediately resign from his position. The action of the AG clearly shows that they themselves had in fact insulted the existing judiciary system.

We are glad that the Teoh family have not given up hope and we would see, they will not give up so easily. They will continue to strive to seek justice for their child, brother and husband. The people are all behind them and we shall be always be with them.

The prime minister seems to be very forgetful about his promise he made to the Teoh family previously, and we are all going to remind him again and again. You had promised that the inquest will complete its hearing within two weeks and all those murderers from the MACC will be brought to justice. But two weeks had long gone and it is more than a year now.

Furthermore, the magistrate of the inquest had also frequently gave so many unreasonable and lame excuses in order to delay the hearing and inquiry. They are simply doing all these to make the Teoh family frustrated and finally would decide to give up of getting their hands on these murderers. However, the Teoh family, with the public support, continue to shoulder on and there is no sign of them giving up at all.

From what we are seeing now, the magistrate inquest is going to prolong for another two more years or more, and things are now getting worst with the recent exposure that the AG is indeed withholding some very crucial evidence to this case at his chambers.

The AG, magistrate, the officials of the MACC and the police are going to continue with their so-called "sandiwara semasa" in hoping that every one will soon forget about this case and the matter would fade away. We are not fools and do not think that we like you fools!

As long as this case remain unresolved, we shall continue with our candlelight vigils and memorial services nationwide every year until the case is fully resolve and all those murderers are brought to the hangman for justice.

EC should ask ROS to register Pakatan quickly

The Election Commission (EC) had recently advised the current opposition pact, Pakatan Rakyat comprising PAS, PKR and DAP, to register their coalition so that they could use their logo in the coming general election. EC deputy chairman Datuk Wan Ahmad Wan Omar said the coalition should be registered because the opposition parties were always seen violating regulations of the election campaign, especially on the use of their logo. Datuk Wan Ahmad seems to be overly ignorant and too forgetful on this issue. The EC deputy chairman should ask the Registrar of Societies (ROS) to quickly register the Pakatan instead of calling on Pakatan to register itself. Pakatan Rakyat had earlier send in their formal application to register itself as a coalition of political parties since November 2009 and ROS has yet to register the said entity till today after delaying and creating so many hassles for more than a year. USM fiasco a shame

I read and heard with irritation and felt disgusted with the fiasco committed by the apex status university called Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) which caused untold anguish to the affected students and their parents. If this happened in Japan, the Vice-Chancellor would have done the honourable thing - take full responsibilty and leave, but here in Malaysia, as expected, the blame is shifted here and there, trying to make someone a scapegoat. By the way, would there be any racist or sabotage elements involved? Those who are responsible for this fiasco should be sacked or expelled immediately.

Federal Constitution that Safeguards the Legitimate Rights and Interest of All Malaysians

The provisions of the Federal Constitution are very clear. It confirmed the position of the Malay Rulers, Islam as an official religion of the federation and special position of the Malays and the natives in Sabah and Sarawak whilst recalling that those provisions balance those special positions with safeguards to protect the legitimate rights and interests of the other communities in Malaysia which also includes their right to profess and practice their religions freely without being fear of any threats or being harmed by anybody. The legitimate interests of the non-Malays and non-Muslims would include, amongst others: a) Article 153 (9) says that business or trade cannot be solely reserved only for the Malays, b) Article 3 (1) says that the official religion of the federation is Islam BUT other religions are also allowed to be practiced in peace and harmony in any part of the federation.
