Now, Perkasa terrorizes the church
Several local community leaders have reacted with disbelief to a police report made by terrorizing extremist Malay group Perkasa against a Protestant church in Shah Alam.
In his police report, a local Perkasa self-proclaimed "great" leader Zainal Abidin Ahmad said the Grace Church in Shah Alam and its pastor Joseph Marcose had "insulted the Sultan of Selangor" for planning to stage a Christian play in the Muslim-majority city during the fasting month.
Zainal said the play at Shah Alam Convention Centre (SACC), themed "There is Hope", which revolves around the country's independence and which was meant only for church-goers, was a deliberate attempt to propagate Christianity among Muslims.
It looks like Perkasa had started to go round bastardizing other people for being active in their respective religions and beliefs. They even went to an extend of trying to curb the freedom of other religious organizations from carrying out their activities and religious sermons.
What evidence does this "great" Perkasa had to claim that the protestant church is trying to convert the Muslims and putting up a stage show that is insulting the Sultan of Selangor.
Perhaps, His Majesty the Sultan should come out soonest possible to issue a stern warning to Perkasa not to use his name for their own political gain. Or someone should immediately lodge a police report against Perkasa for using the name of the Sultan for their political mileage and racist agendas.
The general public should also realize that they should stand up firmly against this terrorist organization called Perkasa before the later goes overboard by dispatching its suicide bombers to our places of worship or our peace-loving neighbourhood.
Please remember the safety and security of your family, relatives and friends are at stake, if Perkasa were to be allowed to continue its threat, violence and extremism in our communities.
