PM's political secretary's racist remarks spark anger
The political secretary to the prime minister Datuk Nasir Safar said in a 1Malaysia seminar held in Melaka today, that the Indians came to Malaysia as beggars and Chinese especially the women came to sell their bodies.
Besides, Datuk Nasir also mentioned that the Indians in Malaysia have crossed the line. "They force the government for 12 subjects in SPM. Don't force the government. We can anytime revoke the citizenship of the Indians in Malaysia", he added.
Is this part of the 1Malaysia program? Is Datuk Seri Najib Razak aware that some of the staffs in his office were very much racist and had an intention to destroy the entire nation? Is Najib aware that he is not in total control of the prime minister's department?
We want to ask Najib, if he and his team are really sincere in wanting a true and effective 1Malaysia to be implemented? So far, we have yet to see any results but more and more hatred, violence and racist acts are happening in our nation.
By having Datuk Nasir quit as the prime minister's political secretary isn't enough. In fact he should apologize to the entire nation, arrested and charged under the Sedition Act or detain him under the Internal Security Act (ISA) for intending to threaten the national unity and the multiracial harmony in our country. This man should not be let off just like that.
Otherwise, 1Malaysia will be just another bluff!
