Anwar's case, an Umno diversion from its own problems and scandals

The second sodomy case of Opposition Leader and PKR Advisor Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is getting more complicated. Numerous request put forward by his team of defending lawyers to get the prosecution to produce various evidence before the court has been continuously denied without any concrete reasons.

What was the actual intention for the denial? So many reasons and scandals. Umno and Barisan Nasional (BN)'s own problems and scandals. They needed something big and unusual to divert our people's attention away from their own misadventures. So, they took Anwar as their diversion tool for that.

With our people are now focusing on Anwar's case, Umno and BN got their cannons fired at Pakatan Rakyat (PR) state governments, creating chaos, demonstrations, provoking racial angers, hatreds and threatening the people who supported PR for alleged "betraying" their religious obligations. Umno and BN's plan are getting Anwar's attention away from PR, and fire a few shots at the PR state governments to destabilize them, then trying to topple them.

The Umno and BN plans are clear, to pressure PR into intense politicking so that they would lose focus in governing their states. As the states are destabilizing, Umno and BN are banking on the people to revolt against the PR state governments.

And when the revolt happens, the people would forget about what had really happened at the Umno and BN side, the mother of all scandals. The people would forget that the public funds were swindled in billions of Ringgit by Umno and their BN partners "in crime". Like the recent ones listed below:

1. TLDM second hand submarines were unable to dive due to a lots of technical glitches.
2. The leakage of the Defense Ministry secrets to foreign embassies in Kuala Lumpur.
3. The F-5E jet engines stolen more than two years ago.
4. Our continuos push for the Independent Police Complaints and Misconduct Commission (IPCMC) are not taken into serious consideration. They are trying to make us forget about this.
   
5. MACC's politically motivated one-sided persecution.
   
6. The Teoh Beng Hock Inquest: He was found murdered at the Selangor MACC headquarters. The process inquest is getting very ineffective.
   
7. Port Klang Free Zone scandal. Port Klang Authority is passing the buck again. What about those big guns who are involved?
   
8. The RM93 million spent on acquiring some 1294 units of buses ended in scrap yard in just two years.
9. Umno's continuous manipulation of the judiciary and the police force to advance its own political interest.
10. The MiG29 fighter jets that were bought from Russia were actually not fit for defense and combat missions. Our pilots did not die defending the country but their lives were taken away while on training.
11. Our Nuri helicopters were all decommissioned due to aging conditions, the defense ministry is looking at acquiring second hand cheap helicopters from another country. Killing more of our pilots again in this way?
12. And a lot more cases of mismanagement, power abuses, corruptions, missing funds, etc which are still protected by the Official Secrets Act.
    

With Anwar's case going to be very complicated this time, the Umno and BN leaders are hoping to sweep all their scandals right under the carpet very soon, so they could continue with their "vacations" at peace.

They believed, once they get rid of Anwar, they could also get rid of all their scandals and continue their squandering adventures for good.
