You want a chance? Disband all racist elements in this country first!

Prime Minister Datuk Najib Razak yesterday night celebrated the Chinese Lunar New Year by asking the our Malaysian Chinese community to give the federal government a chance to prove itself.

“Give us chance and we will prove that we are a government that can do the best for the people,” the prime minister said at the national Chinese New Year celebrations at the Pandamaran New Village here.

We want to ask Najib, if you want a chance, you need to prove yourself worth of it. We will give you the chance if you do us the following:
  1. Disband the United Malays National Organization (Umno),
  2. Disband the Utusan Malaysia and its entire operations,
  3. Disband the Berita Harian and its entire operations,
  4. Disband Perkasa (Pribumi Organization of Greatness) and the other racist organizations,
  5. Disband the Internal Security Act (ISA),
  6. Disband the Official Secrets Act (OSA),
  7. Disband the New Economic Policy (NEP),
  8. Disband all racist elements and policies in the government, educational, scholarships, services, laws and enactments, establishments, businesses, investments schemes, projects, financial, development and public programmes.
If you want to be a prime minister for all Malaysians and to uphold your 1Malaysia concept, then disband all the 8 negative elements mentioned above as they are all great enemies of your 1Malaysia concept.

BN component parties, such as MCA, Gerakan, MIC, PPP or the other Sabah and Sarawak BN parties, do not have the political courage to tell Najib and Umno to stop the irresponsible politics of race, religion, hate, violence and revenge.

These BN component parties are completely useless and did not even dare to confront Umno when it comes to politics of race, religion, hate, violence and revenge being played up by Umno or its sponsored non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

The MCA, Gerakan, MIC, PPP or the other Sabah and Sarawak BN parties are always blindly listening and say "yes" to whatever Umno dictates, demands and decides. These BN component parties are completely useless in terms of commitment to the people.

As such, we doubt your sincerity and honesty. What you had did to Perak and what you are currently doing in Selangor, Penang, Kelantan and Kedah also proved your insincerity towards achieving the 1Malaysia concept. You are always creating chaos and instability in these areas.

We can also be very certain that even Umno is the prime minister's greatest enemy which he cannot get rid of because it is also his power base. So, how is he able to play the 1Malaysia concept well with all Malaysians?

EC should ask ROS to register Pakatan quickly

The Election Commission (EC) had recently advised the current opposition pact, Pakatan Rakyat comprising PAS, PKR and DAP, to register their coalition so that they could use their logo in the coming general election. EC deputy chairman Datuk Wan Ahmad Wan Omar said the coalition should be registered because the opposition parties were always seen violating regulations of the election campaign, especially on the use of their logo. Datuk Wan Ahmad seems to be overly ignorant and too forgetful on this issue. The EC deputy chairman should ask the Registrar of Societies (ROS) to quickly register the Pakatan instead of calling on Pakatan to register itself. Pakatan Rakyat had earlier send in their formal application to register itself as a coalition of political parties since November 2009 and ROS has yet to register the said entity till today after delaying and creating so many hassles for more than a year. USM fiasco a shame

I read and heard with irritation and felt disgusted with the fiasco committed by the apex status university called Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) which caused untold anguish to the affected students and their parents. If this happened in Japan, the Vice-Chancellor would have done the honourable thing - take full responsibilty and leave, but here in Malaysia, as expected, the blame is shifted here and there, trying to make someone a scapegoat. By the way, would there be any racist or sabotage elements involved? Those who are responsible for this fiasco should be sacked or expelled immediately.

No action against YBs without speaker's consent

Penang assembly Speaker Law Choo Kiang said the police and attorney-general (AG) cannot prosecute any elected representatives for any wrongdoings committed in the House. Law said the authorities cannot act on the assemblypersons without the agreement of the speaker. "So this clearly cancels the (planned) charge against Seri Delima assemblyperson RSN Rayer for sedition under the 1948 Sedition Act," the PKR Bukit Tambun assemblyperson said in a statement yesterday. Law said a warning based on the assembly's standing orders has been issued to Rayer not to repeat the remark "Umno celaka" (damned Umno), which the latter allegedly uttered in the House on May 20.
