PPP, you are being bullied !
The People's Progressive Party (PPP) claimed that it was spreading its wings to Sarawak to strengthen the state Barisan Nasional (BN) and not to contest in the next state elections.
However, the PPP's move to spread its wings to Sarawak had not been welcomed by the state BN leaders. Political secretary to the Sarawak Pesaka Bumiputra Bersatu (PBB) president, Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah said "You (PPP) are not welcomed. You are just an extra baggage for the state BN".
Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) president Dr James Masing said "the field here in Sarawak is already too crowded for PPP to come in".
Looks like the Sarawak BN parties do not welcome or appreciate PPP's entry into the state, citing in mind that PPP might want to take over the roles of the BN' Sarawak based parties. Besides, the BN state parties are also worried that PPP might lobby for state seats in the next state elections of which will undermine their political influences.
PPP, you are not welcomed and they do not appreciate your expansion at all. So, why are you still wasting your time in the BN coalition. If you have your principles, leave BN at once to prove to the people that you can be an independent politically rather than depending too much on BN for your survival.
Just look at how are you being bullied by your fellow BN component parties whenever you go because they say you are too small and weak.
PPP must remember that they lost all the seats they contested in the last general elections because they are part of the BN coalition. Because of BN, PPP candidates has been badly defeated in the general elections.
As such, leave BN to prove yourselves worth.
