Pakatan sportingly ceased its quest to regain Perak state government seat

The Pakatan Rakyat (PR) has finally agreed to sportingly ceased its fight to remove rebel Umno mentri besar Datuk Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir and his rebel state government or call for snap polls after the Federal Court ruling showed the futility of their struggle.
Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin said last night the PR leadership had decided it was time to move on and work towards becoming a strong opposition in the state government.
We welcome the sporting show extended by the state PR led by Datuk Seri Nizar today to move forward in order to achieve its long term objectives to expand and strengthen the people's support for the opposition coalition.
Umno and Barisan Nasional (BN) has not being sporting at all during the last general elections on March 2008 where they had continuously refused to accept their defeat and vowed to avenge against the then Pakatan-led state government. A year later, the BN led by Umno launched a coup d'etat with the help from the security forces to toppled the state government and installed its rebel state government to retake the state.
Datuk Seri Nizar also said that the PR would give its full cooperation if the Umno rebel state government agreed to four conditions — to allow PR parties to use public premises for the purpose of hosting functions, give memberships to PR assemblymen in special committees, provide all PR assemblymen with allocations to the tune of RM150,000 or RM200,000 and for the Umno rebel state government to base its administration on the principles of honesty, integrity, transparency, justice and welfare.
Datuk Seri Nizar also refused to agree that the PR had exited this fight with their tails between their legs and insisted that the surprising decision did not mean they were conceding defeat.
As far as we are concerned, they (Umno) are still an illegal rebel state government. PR and the Perakians still humbly request for Zambry to return the people’s rights. He will be more respected if he goes and seeks for a dissolution.
Well, we could still see Zambry is really afraid of the people and he would not dare to dissolve the state legislative assembly and return to face the people. He is still afraid.
