Pemusnahan Rekod dan Dokumen Kerajaan

Image

Politik Berpuak Sedang Hantui PRU13

Image

What Do Voters Want Today?

Image
N.B. This article was earlier published in the Inter-Research And Studies (IRAS) website on 25th April 2013 The 13th general elections (GE13) is approaching, approximately ten more days to go from today. And both side of the political divide, Barisan Nasional (BN) and Pakatan Rakyat (PR) are campaigning hard in order to gain support from the voters. In this year's GE13, it also saw a significant rise on the number of independent candidates. Well, the backgrounds of these independent candidates are of many kinds, majority are political party dissidents from both BN and PR, incumbents who are not being selected to recontest in their respective seats, and of course, for the first time, there are also a lots of serious contenders who are contesting as independents to offer what they said, "they would only serve the people in particular because they would not be tied up to the interests of the political parties". Then, on the voters' side. What do the voters of to...

A New Government Is In Need

Image
The Barisan Nasional (BN) government which has been fully dominated by Umno all this while has been ruling for too long. Not only our people's freedom of speech is being curbed but the freedom of thought is also been systematically controlled. Whatever BN says or whatever BN does, all are deemed to be accurate, good or the best and it all cannot be questioned, nor even asked for explanation before any protest is made against it. The mainstream media (radio, television, newspapers) has been fully monopolized by the BN establishment for decades. Whatever BN say or does, so does the mainstream media, following exactly what the BN says or does everyday. Whatever the BN says or does, the mainstream media would say BN is so good and they are too good. Opinions, feedbacks and commentaries from the Opposition parties and the professionals in regards to weaknesses of the public policies and implementations of the government are completely being shunned from the mainstream media. The ...

MCA is really insulting our Malaysians

Image
In the Sunday Star newspaper on 21 April 2013 it appeared on page 29 an advertisement which was put up by the MCA in conjunction with the ongoing general elections campaign featuring Ubah For The Worst? Then followed by the word, What can we learn from the Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, Yemen, Syria and Bahrain Free Fall? The last word of the advertisement then said, Who Says Ubah Is Good For You? Well, what the MCA is trying to portray here? What has the people's uprising in Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, Yemen, Syria and Bahrain has got to do with the politics here in Malaysia? Is MCA trying to portray that the situation in Malaysia is so much similar to that of Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, Yemen, Syria and Bahrain, where chaos would eventually take place once the old governments in these countries were toppled? The other issue here is, MCA is trying to threaten our people with some kind of situation that if the opposition parties were to take over Putrajaya after the general elections, ther...

When did the Zionists funds came in?

Image
When did the Zionist funds came in? How did the Zionist channel all those funds? Which opposition party are now receiving the funds from the Zionists? Who the opposition figures in Malaysia who are in contact with the Zionists to have those funds channel over here? And finally, what are the names of the Zionists individuals and organizations who are funding the political parties here? Bank Negara do have all those list with them, isn't it so? This is what has been claimed by the former deputy finance minister and Umno supreme council member Awang Adek Hussin recently. Awang Adek, who is also the Kelantan state Umno deputy chairman and its Bachok division chief also alleged that these Zionist lobbyists has been interfering in our nation's political affairs by funding these opposition parties. He, however refused to reveal the names of the opposition parties that are receiving the funds when asked to do so, reasoning that the Bank Negara is still monitoring the situation rig...

BN wants change too, says Najib. Really?

Image
The chairman of Barisan Nasional (BN) Datuk Najib Razak had said that the ruling BN coalition was as eager as its opponent Pakatan Rakyat (PR) to change but he stressed that the change that BN was seeking was from within. Really? How have you change from within when you were the prime minister all this while? BN wanted to change but the biggest problem here is, the dominant component party under your leadership, Umno has refused any changes all the time. Umno endorse racism against Malaysians, Umno endorse Perkasa against Malaysians, Umno endorse violence, Umno endorse threat, Umno endorse mismanagement, Umno endorse corruption, Umno endorse power abuse, Umno endorse politics of divide and rule in order to continue its undemocratic method of rule and many more negative elements. So, has Umno change in actual fact? If Umno has really change, where are the freedom and democratic space of which our people are suppose to enjoy? In the current elections campaign, Umno and BN has ...

Separation of Powers between the Party and the Government

Image
N.B. This article was earlier published in the Inter-Research And Studies (IRAS) website on 18th April 2013 Many of us are not aware the need and importance of the separation of powers between the party and the government. To the general political understanding of today, the chairman, president or secretary-general of the ruling party shall be automatically be appointed as prime minister or the head of the government. So does the members of the party central committee or executives, they all will automatically gain ministerial positions in the government by virtue of their leadership positions in the party. Very simple and straight forward, isn't so? Well, not many of us would know if the mixture of powers between the party and the government were to continue. Somehow, the government machinery would eventually become the party's organ. It would not happen directly but rather in an indirect manner as the machinery of the government of the day would eventually answers to the...

Pertelagahan Dalam Parti-Parti Politik

Image

10-minute airtime offer still stands, so what?

Image
According to Umno supreme council member and Minister for misInformation, misCommunication and Culture, Datuk "Dr" Rais Yatim, political parties are still welcomed to apply to have a 10-minute airtime each to present their present their respective party manifestos for the 13th general elections on Radio Television Malaysia (RTM). According to Rais again, the door is still open and he encouraged them utilize the airtime for the sake of "democracy". For the sake of "democracy", what a joke indeed! He called a 10-minutes airtime a democracy? Truly the greatest joke on earth. So much as prime minister and Umno president Datuk Najib Razak's earlier promise to make Malaysia "the best democracy in the world". This is for everyone of us to know, just in case some of us are not aware of their contributions and rights. The facts here is, all the television channels currently being managed by RTM are fully funded by the people's money (we pay...

BN finally endorse Perkasa

Image
With the prime minister and chairman of Barisan Nasional (BN), Najib Razak confirmation and naming of the racist and extremist Perkasa vice-president Zulkifli Noordin as the official BN candidate to contest in the Shah Alam parliamentary seat, it has been proven now, the BN has finally endorse the extreme racist organization as one of the members of the coalition. After so many years of denials after denials, be it from Umno or other BN component parties that Perkasa is not one of theirs at all, and do not want to be associated with that extreme racist group, the BN top leadership has finally decided to accept Perkasa into its fold with the naming of the group's vice-president representing BN to contest in the Selangor state capital. Zulkifli is the incumbent member of parliament for Kulim-Bandar Baharu, who had previously contested and won the seat under the PKR banner but he was later expelled from the party following his indiscipline. His candidacy come hot on the heels r...

EC should explain, why 1Malaysia flags are used for BN campaigning instead of BN flags

Image
We all know that the nomination day would be on this weekend, and the date for the general elections has also being confirmed by the Elections Commission (EC). Asides giving the dates for the nomination and general elections, the EC has also reminded all political parties campaigning should abide by the electoral rules and laws. However, the ruling coalition, Barisan Nasional (BN) had choose to ignore the instructions laid down by the EC. Observations around many areas and towns found that there are more 1Malaysia flags being hoisted instead of BN flags. When the question was put to one of the BN campaign workers, they merely replied, "1Malaysia is BN and BN is 1Malaysia, they are all the same". But in accordance to the electoral law, only the flags and banners of the contesting political parties are only allowed to be displayed. Is 1Malaysia a political party? Are there any candidates contesting under the 1Malaysia banner? Did the BN register the 1Malaysia emblem  wit...

Let PSM Contest in the GE13 With Its Logo

Image
Parti Sosialis Malaysia (PSM) had planned to contest in 1 parliamentary seat and 3 state state seats in the coming general elections (GE13). In the last general elections, PSM had won the Sungai Siput parliamentary and the Kota Damansara state seats in Perak and Selangor respectively under the PKR banner as PSM was refused registration by the Registrar of Societies (ROS) at that time. Apart from having won these two seats, PSM had also contested in the Jelapang (Perak) and Semenyih (Selangor) state seats but lost both in a three-corner contest. Recently, PSM had also submitted its application to join the opposition Pakatan Rakyat (PR) coalition. However, to-date, PR has yet to accept PSM officially into its fold. Then, PSM had also voiced their intention to defend the Sungai Siput parliamentary seat and Kota Damansara state seat under the PSM logo as well as to recontest Jelapang and Semenyih state seats respectively. In Sungai Siput and Kota Damansara, both PSM elected represen...

BN uses children as campaign workers

Image
In the Star newspaper's Metro edition today, it has been reported that four under aged boys between 11 to 14 has been used by local leaders of Barisan Nasional (BN) Pokok Sena paliamentary constituency in Kedah to assist in putting up BN flags and setting up other campaign materials for an Umno operations centre. This is indeed a blatant misuse of power by BN and Umno in Kedah. They seems to be openly using children, we mean under aged children to work for them in setting up BN flags and campaign materials in that area. This is a question to them. Why are they using children to as campaign workers? Didn't they know that this is against the law? In this case, we urge the Elections Commission (EC) to look into this as soon as possible and initiate action against BN and Umno. We also wish to remind all adults to watch over their children all the time during these period in order to prevent their kids from being politically used.

Why Chaos or Violent Clashes if the Opposition Wins?

Image
As the nomination date is drawing nearer, both side of the political divide, Barisan Nasional (BN) and Pakatan Rakyat (PR) are both intensifying their election campaigns nationwide with each trying to outdo one another with their words, promises, programs and plans. For the PR side, they had been assuring the people and the voters that the situation would be calm and peaceful if the Opposition coalition were to win more seats or achieve victory over Putrajaya. As from the BN side, the leaders of the ruling coalition has only one reminder to the people, if the Opposition wins, there will be chaos, troubles, violence and more often BN leaders will deny that those chaos, troubles and violence were originated from their party supporters and members but continue reminding the people that they would not be able to control those chaos, trouble or violence. And yesterday, Sabah chief minister Datuk Musa Aman repeated the same old statements which has been repeatedly mentioned by his p...

Ikut Etika Dan Moral, BN Memang Bersalah

Image
