BN says CNY party with Gangnam’s Psy sponsored by private firm
The Penang BN youth chief Oh Tong Keong confirmed that it is a private firm who is sponsoring Psy's trip to Penang for the state BN's Chinese New Year open house. Anyway, there are still expenditures of between RM2.3 to RM3.0 million involve in this process.
So, to them, what is the big fuss over all this? Yes, we definitely have the fuss. Why encourage such wastage and expenditures of which would bring no benefits to our fellow Malaysians? Why not encourage the said private firm use the millions in Ringgit for the benefit of the poor and unfortunate people here or anywhere in this country?
Apart from that there are so many local artistes and celebrities in this country and we wonder why our local talents are just simply being ignored by BN for the sake of the popularity a foreign celebrity or was it because BN wanted to use Psy to drum up its own "popularity".
Come on BN! If this is a Chinese New Year, why do we need a top Korean celebrity to make this event much more popular? There are so many Malaysian Chinese celebrities around this country and BN could just look for anyone of them to perform in their Chinese New Year event.
Unless BN has clearly admitted that no Malaysian Chinese celebrities are willing to perform in their events anymore as none of them would ever support BN again. Whatever it is, we are certain that Psy would not even bother to campaign for BN.
