Umno yang rasa dirinya terancam

Image

Ex-IGP should reveal all in political interference in the police force

Image
This is indeed very, very surprise move made by the former inspector-general of police Tan Sri Musa Hassan. According to him, during his tenure as IGP, ministers frequently interfere with police investigations and arrests, a practice that continues even up to today. On of those ministers who has been always been interfering in many police investigation and arrests was none other than the home minister and Umno vice-president Hishammuddin Hussein but Musa did not name the other ministers who are also involve. The present IGP Tan Sri Ismail Omar is considered as a yes-man. Among kinds of interference in police works include, direct orders or instructions usually came from officials from the home ministry, the minister's private secretary and political secretary, ministers of other portfolios. Apart from that, in many occasions, police officers below the IGP received instructions directly from the above, thus bypassing the IGP himself. In this case, we would urge Musa to reve...

Here you are, it is Umno's May 13 incident again

Image
Here you are, as expected, Umno leaders are bound to warn the Malay community again on the possible repeat of the May 13, 1969 incident (racial riots instigated by Umno leaders after the 1969 general elections). Wanita Umno chief and disgraced former women affairs minister Shahrizat Jalil had raised the spectre of May 13 incident in her opening speech at the Wanita Umno general assembly today warning the over 1,000 wanita delegates of a possible repeat of the racial riots if Umno is weak. So, what is the actual message that this Wanita Umno chief is trying to push into? If Umno is weak, then the Malays would run amok killing everyone again? Is she trying to create attention so that top party leaders would notice her again after she was forced to resigned from her ministerial post following the NFC scandal? Such statement is gravely irresponsible and selfish as she is trying to make a political comeback by using racial tensions to make forward her political ambitions. She is ...

Umno boleh berubah kononnya

Image

Land plundering in Sarawak, Dayak leaders, wake up!

Image
The mass plundering in Sarawak is getting worst. First they took the lands to built the dams, then they took the lands for logging, now even native customary rights (NCR) lands are being taken away from the rightful and traditional owners. Just what are the Dayak political leaders in Sarawak doing nowadays? Well, most of those in the state Barisan Nasional (BN) are either sleeping on their jobs or they just close one eye to whatever is happening outside there. First, Sarawak National Party (SNAP), Dayak-based party was the symbol of Dayak unity in Sarawak until the party was broke up into various factions, and then emerge Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak (PBDS) when the later also finally went into de-registration following intense factional tussle within the party for leadership. After PBDS' demise, the leaders of this defunct party went on to form Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) and Sarawak People's Democratic Party (SPDP) with both claiming to be the sole and legitimate represe...

"Mat rempits" all for Lynas Corporation

Image
During a candlelight vigil last night by a group of environmentally concerned citizens at the Kuantan Port in protest of the mass shipments of the rare earth ore which had arrived at the port recently, a group of mat rempits staged a some sort of violent protest against these concerned citizens using the motorcycles that they were riding to threatened the environmentalist. Looks like Lynas Corporation had got another kind of support, apart from Umno and Barisan Nasional (BN), even these bunch of motorcycle gangsters are now collectively Lynas' strongest supporters. In this case, Lynas should welcome and thank all these mat rempits for helping them to get rid of the people's concerns. It is simply very clear that these mat rempits did not just went to the Kuantan Port there only to disrupt and threaten the peaceful candlelight vigil without gaining anything in return. These bunch of rough guys and bullies could not just go there and leave empty handed. They must have be...

Why "superbiking" dangerously?

Image
A superbike adventure by a group with police connections yesterday at the North Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) has ended with one death, a 53-year old rider.  The other five riders who are riding closely were also injured quite bad. What happened? Well, according to a superbiker, he claimed that they were riding on the fast lane when suddenly a car from the middle lane got to the left side and guess what? All six of them were deliberately hit. One of the injured biker is a traffic police officer carrying the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP). We would not know if what has been alleged by one of the injured biker was true or otherwise, as everyone knows it happened just to fast and unexpected. Furthermore, as seen in some of the newspaper reports, they are all mostly focusing on the "sadness" or "sorrow" sight of these superbikers. Nothing has been reported on what had really transpired from that car driver who had eventually went over to the fa...

Everyone can become a Prime Minister

Image
The former Umno president Dr Mahathir Mohamad had recently made a statement that the opposition parties in the Pakatan Rakyat coalition are each eyeing to become a prime minister for this country. Dr Mahathir made that statement in response to a resolution adopted at the recent PAS general assembly calling for its party president Abdul Hadi Awang to be made prime minister should Pakatan were to capture Putrajaya come next general elections. Apart from that, an article penned down by Veera Pandiyan in the Star newspaper today had also questioned Pakatan over who would be the next prime minister as there are now two candidates-in-waiting for the said position in the opposition coalition. So, Dr Mahathir and Veera Pandiyan, what is the big fuss of having two prime ministers-in-waiting right now? Has these two guys totally forgotten that Malaysia is a democratic nation? You can have even three or five prime ministers-in-waiting if you want, because this country holds its general ele...

PTPTN bankrupt?

Image
The National Higher Education Fund Corporation or Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN) is now suffering from a large number of non-performing loans (NPL) with billions of Ringgit of uncollected education loans. What happened to PTPTN? Why is PTPTN being managed so badly to an extend that the funds loaned to these borrowing students are being left uncollected? Now, even the majority of these so-called borrowers has by now gone missing, untraceable or just vanished like that. Can the management team of PTPTN explain all these problems in detail? Whatever the CEO of PTPN Agos Cholan is trying to explain, "doing it in a nice way" is totally unacceptable and unbecoming for a person from the management level. This word of his is totally a lame excuse aimed to cover up the various weaknesses within the organization. With the bad debts currently at its edge, the CEO should actually take responsibility and resign from his post immediately in order to pave wa...

DAP and its ally PSM at odds over Jelapang

Image
The DAP and its ally Parti Sosialis Malaysia (PSM) are now both at odds over who should contest the Jalapang state seat in Perak come next general elections. The seat is currently held by Hee Yit Foong, presently claim herself to be an independent state assemblyman but clearly seen friendly to BN in the state legislative assembly. Hee had previously contested and won the state seat under the DAP ticket but resigned from the party a year later. Her resignation had also prompted the fall of the Pakatan Rakyat-led Perak state government in February 2009. DAP has in actual fact already established a very strong foundation in the opposition coalition Pakatan since 2008, and with this, we are in the opinion that DAP should give PSM an opportunity to take on the seat in the next general elections. We know that in the last general elections, PSM members too have been campaigning hard for DAP. So, why not pave one seat to PSM in order for them to prove their worth. Furthermore, the Per...

Siapakah sebenarnya mempolitikkan agama?

Image

What happened to the EPF's RM6.5 billion loaned to Felda?

Image
Most recently, the Felda Global Ventures Berhad (FGV) a subsidiary of the Federal Land Development Authority (Felda) under the chairmanship of a convicted money politics culprit has dropped below the issuing price for the first time ever. Then, the prime minister who is also the Umno president Najib Razak announced strings  of benefits and cash rewards to the entire nation's Felda settlers worth billions of Ringgit in order to ease these settlers' dissatisfaction over the losses suffered by both FGV and Felda over these years. And while FGV and Felda has been suffering from such massive losses locally, they are now dreaming of wanting to do "big" investments in war torn regions, like Mindanao (The Philippines), Myanmar and Liberia, and some countries with unstable political and economic situations like Papua New Guinea, Cambodia and Cameroon. In this case, we would like to know what had actually happened to our money (in our retirement funds), when the Emplo...

Umno, jangan berlagak seperti Tuhan!

Image

15 policemen going after a piece of letter?

Image
We were gravely surprise and shock to see that there were about 15 policemen being dispatched to the editorial office of Malaysiakini.com recently to investigate an article published in the online news portal written by a contributor named Steve Oh in support of Lembah Pantai MP Nurul Izzah Anwar's statement on the "no compulsion in religion" made in a seminar. What? Why did the home affairs ministry need as many as 15 policemen (most of them of officer's rank) to investigate just a piece of article contributed by a commentator? We want to ask the superior of these 15 policemen, if he is overly politically motivated in mobilising such a big team to probe the article. A blatant wastage of public fund and taxpayers' money. We are certainly confident that most of us would remember the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) mentioned that the police force has been really short of manpower in pursuing their crime fighting effort which had resulted to the crime rate i...

MIC out to conquer Batu Caves

Image
MIC wanted to hold a grand Deepavali celebration at the Batu Caves temple. What else are they trying to prove? If they wanted to conquer the Hindu temple up there politically, we would advise them to forget about their attempt as the Indian community has already given up hope on MIC as an avenue to seek help. But if MIC is there to seek a public apology from the Indian community following their involvement in the approval of the condominium project next to the temple, they ought to do it with full sincere. But if MIC were to use the Deepavali event at the temple to politicise something or to again deny their part in the project which was approved in 2007, they will face the facts that they would be severely punished by the people and God for keep on lying to the people or covering up the wrongs that they had committed. MIC must remember that religion and politics do not mix. If the party insist in putting politics on top of religion, or using the religion to advance their politi...

No compulsion in religion, it is facts!

Image
In the recent news report it was mentioned that PKR vice president and member of parliament for Lembah Pantai, Nurul Izzah Anwar had said that there should be no compulsion in religion even for the Malays. Then, the very next day, an Umno-owned newspaper, Utusan Melayu quickly twisted her statement by saying that Nurul has called on the Malays to leave their religion. Did Nurul really said that? Has she ever mention in public calling on the Malays to leave their religion? What basis does Utusan has to allege or assume that her statements represents what has been claimed "Malays should leave their religion"? So, who actually terrorised the entire situation here? Yes, it was the Umno leaders, their own newspapers and their heavily funded NGOs who are doing all those nasty work around in order to provoke hatred and violence. Actually, what has Nurul mentioned was based on the fact that she had indeed referred to the Al-Quran's Surah Al-Baqarah verse 2:256 which cle...

Shame on you BN leaders!

Image
How shameful are all these BN leaders, Selangor Gerakan chairman Datuk A.Kohilan Pillay, former MIC president Datuk S.Samy Vellu, the three former MIC municipal councillors, S.Rajakupal, G.Jayakumaran, M.Rajandran and P.Kamalanathan. These BN leaders, fearing being exposed by the Selangor state government, made their first move on 26 October last month in leading a demonstration in front of the Batu Caves temple to protest against the proposed construction of a 29 storey condominiums there, accusing the Selangor state government of giving the approval to the developer to commence the luxurious project next to the cave temple. When the Majlis Perbandaran Selayang (MPS) and the state government tried to justify that it was the previous BN state government who had given the nod for the project, these BN leaders decided to shout even louder by saying that the Pakatan administration is trying to cover-up something. Finally, the MPS and state government has decided to declassify all...

What a mess BN has created in Selangor!

Image
What a mess! What a god dam mess BN has created in Selangor! First, the most powerful warlord in Port Klang at that time; then, they had a super trillionaire former menteri besar (certainly we are talking about that Umno dentist), after that BN took the water supply away from the people of Selangor, billions in Ringgit of the state coffer went missing, and now, the condominium project to be commenced aside the historical Batu Caves Hindu temple. These are the real mess that BN has created for Selangor and now the PKR-led Pakatan Rakyat state government would have to pick up the pieces and face with various public anger, while those who are ignorant would then simply blame the present state government for all these hassles. Well, it has been clearly proven that it was the then Selangor BN state government who had given the approval to a developer in 2007 to build the twenty-over storey condominium next to the Batu Caves Hindu temple. The two BN Indian sitting municipal councill...
