Violent, jealousy and revengeful culture in Umno

Ever since the year 2008's 12th general elections which saw the BN losing its grip on their previously held two-thirds majority, Umno had demonstrated a more violent, jealousy and revengeful culture within its organization and ranks in order to warn the people of their aggressiveness and in not wanting to lose their rights of being the sole political representative of the Malay community in this nation.

For what reason are they doing all these? Just because they do not believe in democracy or the electoral process anymore? Are they angry or frustrated with the majority of our people who are now supporting the opposition front? Are they angry or frustrated with the Chinese community who had withdrawn their support for Umno ever since the year 2008?

From our observation, it is the clear fact that Umno is sending a very clear message to its party members and the people as well, that is they are going to lose more seats in the next general elections. They are echoing to the people not to repeat the "same mistake" in 2008 and there would be a repeat of the 13 May 1969 racial riots should Umno and BN were to be defeated in the next general elections. It is just like giving a stern warning to the people not to vote for the opposition and should this happen the people would have to face the consequences, like violence, revenge, bloodshed, death and so on. They are hoping that by drumming up such fear, our people would be afraid to come out to vote and therefore would reduce the chances of the opposition front taking up more seats.

In fact, Umno is also working hand in hand with the Elections Commission (EC) in order to manipulate the electoral lists nationwide. Just look at the suspicious increase in number of voters in many opposition-held parliamentary and state constituencies. Foreigners and illegal immigrants were systematically invited to take up citizenship in this country in exchange for their vote to Umno and BN. Case proven in Sabah, where Umno managed to maintained its grip in the state with the help of Project IC during Mahathir's era.

When Bersih 2.0 and 3.0 were held in Kuala Lumpur, Umno mobilized their police force from the entire nation to crush the rally which originally planned to be held peacefully to demand for a free and fair elections. In order to ensure such dissent are purged, they allow police brutality to take place.

Besides taking down on the Bersih 3.0 activities and awareness campaign, Umno had also resorted to recruiting gangsters and recorded petty criminals to disrupt opposition-organized ceramahs nationwide, creating vast destruction on public facilities, private properties and causing injuries to innocent people.

And if the police were to say that they are professionals, why most of these Umno troublemakers got away with it? Again and again, we could clearly see all these happening in front of our eyes throughout the years. The police would give some excuses like no report has been lodged, they do not have sufficient manpower to tackle such situation, nobody seek protection from the force and many more. No sufficient manpower to deal with these Umno barbarians at large? But the police force do have sufficient manpower when it comes to facing the Bersih 3.0 protesters and participants or even the journalists!

In many occasions, like the recent attack on some activist in Dataran Merdeka, the attack and assault on the Penang Chief Minister, the attack and disruption at PKR and DAP ceramahs in Melaka, Perak and Johor, the presence of the members of the police force are clearly seen in these areas and these policemen just stood there to watch and doing nothing until all those attackers managed to escape without even an arrest. If one or two were arrested, they would be released on the next day without any charges file against them.

Just look at that! The authorities are disallowing peaceful rallies or assemblies to be held but allowed riots, violence and revengeful acts to take place in open. In this case, mind your statement, Tunku Abdul Aziz (former DAP national vice-chairman who recently resigned from his party and threw his support to BN), more decent people will eventually stand up against law instead of adhering to it, because the BN government is enforcing the law onto these innocent people while allowing their members (Umno) and supporters (Perkasa) to break the same law. In this case there is actually no law at all in the first place.

Apart from this, did you all realize that the Umno's violence, revenge and jealousy had turned into a racial and religious hate. Bersih chairman Ambiga has been turned into AmBabiGa, accusing her of being anti-Malay, anti-Islam. A former inspector-general of police had recently claimed that Bersih's intention was to destroy the Malay community in this country via bloodshed. General issues has been manipulated into a racial and religious issue in order to instill more hatred and there is also a possibility of Umno wanting to create unrest in this country too.

As such, if Umno wanted to let it happened, and the police are just only watching the show like nobody's business, no problem! Let it be. It is Umno who is admitting that they could not bear losing in the general election anymore and they are going to lose it anyway. That is why they are resorting to such tactics and practice in public.

Umno's demise has been sealed. Rest In Peace!
