Gerakan man doing his best but not his party president

This local state Gerakan leader is doing all his best for the people and the nation but somehow, his top leaders does not seem to even come up to support nor defend him when Umno leaders came bashing him up.
Even when an Umno supreme council member Nazri Aziz called him "this punjabi boy", the Penang Gerakan state chairman Dr Teng Hock Nan and Gerakan president Dr Koh Tsu Koon were both dumb and did not even come out to defend their man who is sincerely working so hard trying to rebuild the party that both Dr Teng and Dr Koh had reigned till its downfall.
What is the point if you have a very good local party leader but its top leadership are so useless and did not even dare to voice out in defense of their own party when a dominant party, Umno in the BN coalition of which Gerakan is also part of it, attack them in a racist way.
Look, Gerakan is a political party that is striving for a Bangsa Malaysia concept but somehow their efforts and hard work for all these years has been trashed by Umno. And they keep staying in the BN coalition hoping that change will be on their side one day. When? This is the question that most of its members were asking and asking but todate, no positive results from their party president.
Why is Gerakan still staying in the BN fold as at now? Because of the party members wish to? But we saw this as it was Dr Koh's wish to have Gerakan to remain in BN so that he could keep his ministerial post and his senatorial appointment.
It shows that he is doing that not in the interest of the party but only for himself. If you still insist that you have done something for our people, where?
Just look at your performance as minister in the prime minister's department. Your efforts and initiatives to take up the drive to start the inter-religious consultative body within the federal government has been deliberately gunned down by even your fellow minister in the prime minister's department from Umno who is in-charge of Islamic affairs.
And your government Key Performance Index (KPI) roadshows on its achievements, we doubt those are real if you say so. To us, nothing has change so far. The government we had at the federal level still belongs to Umno, its machinery like the BTN, Felda, Mara and so on are still racist oriented, and at one time BTN even went overly extreme in its training programs in condemning the multiracial and multicultural establishment in this country.
So what kind of KPI are you talking about? We hope Gerakan members will give themselves a second thought seriously, before the 13th general election comes by. Otherwise, it will be too late for them to redeem their political stature.
