The price increase a.k.a. subsidy cuts

When the increase of the petrol price and several other consumer goods were announced by the Umno-led BN federal government last night, it came as a very rude shock and disappoint many in the general public, particularly the majority consist of the middle and lower income groups.

With the increase of these items, the other link ones were also expected to increase drastically given the fact that all these price increases had a total impact to the economic and financial means of each areas.

So, all of us will have to zip up our pockets and start eating only white rice and soy sauce or salted fish.

The federal government which came as a shock to the entire nation also went against their earlier pledge to stand down from their attempt to go ahead with the price increases after our people's widespread protest onto this issue.

The Umno-led BN had in fact broken their promises to put down their attempt to cut down on the subsidies and increase the prices in order to tackle other areas which had really affected the economy and the treasury, such as corruption, mismanagement of funds, power abuses as well as to enhance the key performance indexes of its administration's various offices and agencies.

But they are not fulfilling their promises, but instead blaming our people now for the federal government's upcoming bankruptcy. Instead of going after all those crooks and political elite criminals who swindled much in billions of Ringgit from the treasury and the public funds, they are now forcing our people to bear these consequences which were caused by their own ruling elites.

Just look at how these mismanagement, power abuses and corruption are continuing like nobody's business. The MACC and the police are political motivated to do all it can to ensure the political survival of the current Umno-led BN coalition in Putrajaya, as such corruptions and crimes increases.

We got two sinking naval submarines which cost them billions of Ringgit in purchase and maintenance, the luxurious new Felda headquarters, high mark up rates in the government procurements and tenders, Putrajaya's heavenly kingdom and they are just simply too many of them for us to list down here. It will make a list as thick as a Malay-English dictionary if we really one to list of those things out one by one.

So with all these so-called subsidy cuts which are actually called "barang naik" or should we say BN, where is Najib's pledge for "rakyat didahulukan dan pencapaian diutamakan". Has Najib really got people first and performance now in his heart? Najib is in fact a heartless man and so does all his ruling elites in the Umno and BN coalition.

Do you still want this heartless coalition government led by Umno to continue rule our nation. Make your choice wisely and act based on your wisdom. You have your rights and make use of your rights wisely and with wisdom.
