Heavenly kingdom in Putrajaya, symbol of Umno-BN dictatorship and power abuse

Putrajaya, the current administrative capital of the Umno-led BN federal government was a brainchild of former premier Dr Mahathir Mohammad. He spend billions of Ringgit in developing the district and have it upgraded into a Federal Territory as soon as the construction of the new capital was completed.

Then, he instructed the development of a heavenly kingdom within Putrajaya which symbolised the Umno-BN's decades of rule by constructing monuments like the "Astaka Morocco" and the "Monumen Alaf Baru" which he claimed will attract visitors to the new capital.

The construction of the so-called heavenly kingdom within Putrajaya cost them another RM41.0 million and couple with another, say about RM400,000.00 annually for maintenance and to upkeep the area on regular basis. Does all these benefit or bring any good for our people? No wonder the federal government said they are going to bankrupt soon.

This is what happens when these monuments and huge structures are constructed just to fulfill the ego, greed, lust and fantasies of some political leaders claiming themselves to be of supreme in nature and hoping that other people would one day admire and worship them like gods.

Actually, with all these monuments and structures, it does not really symbolise Umno or BN rule in our nation, nor it shows how great a leader was once upon a time? It only symbolises the true nature of how our nation has been totally abused and brutalised by the present dictatorship and all undemocratic means engineered by Umno and its BN coalition.

Not only Felda itself is going bankrupt, we supposed the entire federal government is going bankrupt as well. We do not know how many more "white elephant" projects out there which are yet to be exposed but we are certain that there will be too many to describe.
