Kedah MCA chief a big liar!
Kedah state MCA liaison chief Chong Itt Chew earlier made a statement claiming that a major factory in the Kulim High-Technology Park had moved its operations overseas.
State Executive Councillor Amiruddin Hamzah said Chong's claim that Fuji Electric (M) Sdn Bhd had shifted its operations to the Philippines is a blatant lie and its aim was to discredit the state government.
Besides, Chong's irresponsible statement had also create uncertainties amongst the said company employees and in fact he should apologize to the company's management for his unbecoming behavior.
Amiruddin, also said the factory too was upset with Chong’s statement. “The company has made it known that if such false information continues to be disseminated, it will not hesitate to act against those involved", he said.
Amiruddin added that in the first two months of 2010, two new investors have moved to the industrial park. “Their investments are worth RM1.529 billion and will create 1,382 additional jobs,” he said.
