An Umno-BN's heavenly kingdom

At first, the minister in the PM's department Idris Jala warned the entire nation that the federal government would go bankrupt if the current various subsidies were not withdrawn.

Then, another minister in the PM's department Nazri Aziz said that the federal government could not afford to provide scholarships to our students anymore. Today, Nazri says that ending the scholarships will help to stop brain drain.

The Umno-led BN federal government continuously remind the general public to cut down on their daily expenses, save their hard earned money and spent wisely.

Unfortunately, it is a grave disappointment to see that the federal government does not walk the talk at all. Their lavish spending on several mega and luxurious projects which are seen as not benefiting the people entirely.

Currently, they are undertaking the construction of a new and third grand national palace situated at Jalan Duta to accommodate the Yang Dipertuan Agong. The first palace called Istana Negara is where the Agong currently resides, while the second one called Istana Melawati which is situated in Putrajaya serves as the monarch's "winter palace".

Wow! Why does our nation's commander-in-chief need to have so many palaces to stay in? One is not enough, then build the second one for spare is okay, but now a third one is coming up. Will there be a fourth one sooner?

Malaysia is not like the Qing Dynasty's China. We do not have so many weathers like spring, summer, autumn and winter. So, why does the federal government want to build so many palaces. If you build two it is already more than enough, but if you are building the third one, a fourth palace will definitely emerge one day.

And the construction of the new palace currently cost up to about RM811 million. After the construction is completed, the palace will be empty for most of the time. Did you know, with this money, we could built hundreds of low-cost houses for the homeless and unfortunate ones, provide assistance to the welfare and charity centers, give scholarships to our bright students to help them further their studies at the higher learning institutions, allocation to schools, provide assistance for rural developments and a lot more.

But under the Umno-BN rule, all these provisions for the good of our general public are not happening at all. Prices of consumer goods and products are going up and up everyday. The federal government instead put the blame onto the various subsidies and not the spending misadventures of Umno-BN cronies and associates.

The federal government has a lot of cash to construct a new mosque in Putrajaya, planned to construct another new parliament building in Putrajaya (which was reversed later today and replaced with a proposal to refurbished the under utilized Putrajaya International Convention Center into a new parliament), so they could abandon the old one. The earlier estimated cost of the new parliament is also somewhat like RM815 million.

And they (the federal government) told our people that they do not have anymore money to give scholarships to our straight As students in order to support their studies. The parents of these children will have to struggle at their end to get their children into the best learning institutions.

Most of those who are working and staying in cities had even resorted to taking up two jobs in order to make their ends meet.

Even that so, most of these people could not even save much because of the increasingly high cost of living. Prices of almost all consumer goods had also increased drastically. Both the people and the business sectors had began to feel the pinch and pain as the result of the currently out of controlled inflation.

While all of us are suffering and working so hard to make ends meet, the Umno and BN top leaders as well as their families, cronies and associates are continuing to spend lavishly in their luxurious style like throwing money into the river.

Public funds has been openly mismanaged. Those who swindle these funds became not only wealthier and powerful, but they also turned brutal towards humankind. These lump of rich morons had in fact lost their humanity.

To make things worst, the Umno-led BN federal government also planned to impose GST in order to "improve" their financial stand and increase their cash reserves.

So, now you see, it is a blatant disregard of the people's welfare and sufferings. And if this situation continues, our entire nation would head towards the dead end.

Umno-BN said that the people's mindset should change and we should be grateful of them, but we cannot be grateful to them if they continue to misuse our hard earned money in this way.

We will not change our mindset, instead the federal government must be changed immediately. Do not blame the people for the current deteriorating economic situation.

Therefore, to set things back to order, change the federal government!
