The revengeful Umno and Perkasa
Recently, an innocent looked and honest local councillor from the Selayang Municipal Council, Selangor had been beaten up until he has to seek medical treatment for it.
Why? All because of a dispute of a land allocation awarded to a Chinese-based welfare society for the purpose of putting up their activity centre there. The allocation of the land on the same spot was also actually applied by some Umno and Perkasa leaders who is operating under a business entity in order to obtain the same land to construct a local Umno/Perkasa office and activity centre there.
The actual condition was the Chinese-based welfare society has been operating on that allocated land for years and they are merely applying for renewal to the possession of the said land to continue carrying out their welfare activities and to serve the community there.
So, why are these local Umno/Perkasa leaders and members there so revengeful and took this rejection of their application as a racial conflict, by claiming that the Selangor state government and the Selayang Municipal Council only favour the Chinese community and sidelined the Malays? Why are they making this issue into a racial conflict and trying to disrupt racial harmony in the state?
The fact that is that particular welfare society is merely applying to renew its possession of the land for the purpose to carry out its noble and welfare activities for the benefit of the people there. They are carrying out the good deeds for the communities there not only for the Chinese but for all races as well.
And the welfare society happens to be Chinese-based one. So that is why Umno/Perkasa wanted to make it into a racial issue. For what? Just to show off that they are championing the Malays? No, actually they are not championing the Malays at all but promoting more hatred as well as more misunderstandings in order to advance their racial political agendas.
What is Umno/Perkasa doing now is simply so disgusting and we have no other words to describe them anymore. Only one word that fit to these two - terrorism. They promote terrorism, violence, hatred and fear in order to achieve its objectives, one-race supremacist.
