Why did BN used APCO for 1Malaysia?

First of all, why did the Umno-led BN federal government under the leadership of premier Datuk Seri Najib Razak used a foreign based communications consultancy firm like APCO to create and develop the 1Malaysia ideas and concept?

The other thing is, the BN federal government did not go directly to APCO to seek for its services, but instead it went through a local firm called Ethos Consulting Group.

This means billions and billions of Ringgit of our taxpayers' money has been used not only to pay APCO for their service but also commission was also paid to Ethos Consulting Group as introductory fee for recommending APCO into Malaysia.

Aren't there any local communications or public relations consultancy firms that are good and expert enough to advise the BN federal government on drafting the 1Malaysia ideas and concept?

We simply do not understand why did the BN federal government prefer to spend billions of US Dollars to hire a foreign consultancy to serve their interest instead of getting a local one where they could spend a little less by paying in Ringgit Malaysia.

Najib's Umno and BN had strongly emphasize on the need to promote and enhance 1Malaysia, but what they are doing all these while are not based on the spirit of 1Malaysia because they prefer to ignore the local talents and hire a foreign consultancy instead. Is this 1Malaysia practice?

They had already breached their own ideas and concept by giving their trusts more to a foreigner rather than our local companies. If you say that Malaysia had sufficient talents to develop the nation, that means you do not trust them, unless you say it otherwise i.e. that Malaysia do not have such talents to do so, but we will still say that you had insulted the Malaysians by looking down on our capabilities and expertise that we have.

Now the real problem here is you had completely wasted billions in US Dollars of our taxpayers' money just to fund this silly ideas and concept of 1Malaysia which we think it might never work after all because you allowed Perkasa to undermine it.

And when your federal treasury were to be emptied one day, you will do all you can to fill it up again by rising the tax, create new taxes, charges, bring up the fuel price again, approve the highway toll hikes and increase the price of our daily goods.

Please be informed that those public funds that you are holding does not belong to Umno or BN or even your leaders. Those public funds are our money that we paid as tax and other annual revenues that are statutorily paid by us.

You are clearly misusing all those money because all those ideas and concept did not benefit our people at all but a mere enhancement of your image and it is a fact that hiring APCO to do your work is merely a self-interest instead of a national one.

You wish to maintain in power for as long as you can and that is why you will do anything while in power to achieve it. This is what we call a real treason to our people and the entire nation.

Our trusts on you and your federal government had already gone and you can forget of trying to regaining our support.
