Parliament turned into a battleground by BN MPs

It is very obvious that the parliament of our nation today had been deliberately turned into a battleground just to satisfy the lusts, angers and hates from the hearts of the Umno-led BN parliamentarians.

The parliamentary sessions were supposed to be a place where both government and opposition parliamentarians are to discuss and debate issues and matters related to the governance and the interest of our nation.

But with grave disappointment, the Umno parliamentarians had turned the parliament into a large battleground for them to launch continuously attacks on their opposition Pakatan counterparts, where the personalities of the later were often touched on simply because they are oppositions.

When the Pakatan parliamentarians tried to move forward on matters relating to the governance, administrative issues and other matters in relation with the interest of our nation, these Umno parliamentarians are quick to stand up to pick on the opposition bench very often too personal.

The Umno parliamentarians had forgotten that the people elected them to bring their voice into the parliament but these MPs took their positions as a personal one instead. These Umno guys has been very unprofessional when come in terms of debating issues and matters related to our nation.

These Umno parliamentarians are often fond of making racist criticisms, personal attacks, talking rough languages against their opposition counterparts who are trying to bring their points into the debates.

And when these Pakatan parliamentarians are trying to state their facts and put forward their motions to be discussed, debated and even for voting, their efforts and initiatives were often being shot down by the Umno appointed Dewan speaker and deputy speakers on grounds that most of the opposition's tabled motions are not in the interest of the nation.

So, are only motions that are tabled by the Umno and BN parliamentarians are of the interest of our nation, while whatever any motions tabled by the Pakatan parliamentarians are not?

Almost in every parliamentary session, when an Umno or BN motion and bill are tabled and scrutinize by the Pakatan parliamentarians, the later were branded as traitors to our nation just because they wanted to seek further clarifications and information from the Umno and BN ministers.

Why the Pakatan parliamentarians are not allowed to scrutinize and question the government bench? It is not for Umno or BN parliamentarians to say what can be questioned and what cannot be questioned. We are the people who elected all these Pakatan parliamentarians so that they can work and serve the people by scrutinizing all matters undertaken by the Umno-led BN federal government.

The Umno and BN parliamentarians had no night to dictate what should be done in and at the parliament. The parliament belongs to the people and not only Umno. The parliament building and its administrative department were fully maintained by the sweat and efforts initiated by our people.

In the parliament, no parliamentarians or even the ministers are great, greater or greatest. All parliamentarians are equal in standing and it is the duties of every each of the parliamentarians to answer all questions put forward to them by their respective counterparts.

But it is very unfortunate that the Umno parliamentarians are now trying to take over the parliament at all cost with their fist. Who knows one day, the home affairs minister may call in the police force to stand guard at the opposition bench to prevent the government side from being scrutinized.
