Gerakan in limbo
We want to ask Gerakan, are they still upholding their non-racial approach and Bangsa Malaysia concept? Are they still pinning on hope that one day Umno will repent and say sorry to all of its BN component parties?
No way Umno is going to do that. Umno is too arrogant to even be humble and work for the interest of the people. Umno is too arrogant and will always insist of its supremacist and racist ideology and concept. This is Umno's way and they can never change. Umno is always in denial mode.
So, why is Gerakan still backing the racist party? Your Kedah Gerakan youth chief Tan Kheng Liang had voiced out his opposition to the Umno president Datuk Najib Razak's decision to ignore the call for the revival of the local government elections and the Penang Gerakan chairman Dr Teng Hock Nan's urge to Umno not to accept Kulim Bandar Baru MP Zulkifli Noordin as a member will not be accepted at all by any Umno leaders.
Today, the Selangor Umno had openly slammed Dr Teng's statement and asked him to mind his own business. We are certain that tomorrow, more Umno leaders will attack Gerakan over their opinions on Zulkifli and the local government elections.
Whatever it is, Umno will always come out to slam Gerakan's head on the wall if the later were to criticize and voice its opinions.
We want to ask Gerakan again, why are you still in BN? In BN, Bangsa Malaysia is out, Anak Malaysia is also out, non-racial approach is also certainly out. Why? Because the dominant force in the BN is a racist organization. And if a racist organization heads the coalition, how are you going to uphold your party objectives and concept effectively?
Finally, again or should we say a reminder, Gerakan has only one way to show us that it rejects racism: leave BN and do not subscribe to Umno ideals.
