Pakatan Rakyat needs to be strengthened
The Pakatan Rakyat need to consolidate its strength as soon as possible. Despite calls from all corners that the Pakatan coalition which consist of PKR, DAP and PAS should register its combined entity, the opposition coalition leaders has been delaying the efforts citting earlier confusion in the Societies Act.
Now that the Registrar of Societies (ROS) had given his confirmation on the proceedings of registering the opposition coalition, the Pakatan leaders must take this opportunity as soon as they can since the ROS had given their word to pave way for the registration of the Pakatan into an official entity of the opposition coalition.
In order to consolidate their strength, Pakatan leaders ought to look, review and come up with the following effective measures:
As for the ROS, we hope they will stick to their words to register Pakatan and not giving any reasons whatsoever in slowing down the process.

In order to consolidate their strength, Pakatan leaders ought to look, review and come up with the following effective measures:
- PKR, DAP and PAS should jointly come up with a common ideology for Pakatan.
- An effective Pakatan secretariat should also be set up as soon as possible to consist members and officials from the three parties to administer it.
- The three parties should also consolidate their strength in all levels i.e. branch, divisional, state and national.
- Open bickering amongst coalition parties should not be intensify into war of words or agression which could lead to wrong public perception on them.
- Enhance and advance the democratic space of each coalition parties to show the people of their efforts as "change agents".
- PAS, especially should stop promoting its extremist Islamic ideas which may scare away potential and existing supporters. The results of the Bagan Pinang by-election had signify the switch of non-Malay voters.
- PKR should come up with a mechanism of its own to filter its leaders and members to avoid its party image being tarnished or suffering from defections.
- DAP on the other hand must make its every effort to do away with its current "Chinese based" tag in order to seek further into the Malay heartland to gain the community's support.
As for the ROS, we hope they will stick to their words to register Pakatan and not giving any reasons whatsoever in slowing down the process.
