1Malaysia, 1MCA, 1Toilet, 1Dead
The 1Malaysia today had came out with some mixed happenings and events. It claimed to be an effort by Umno-led BN federal government to unite all Malaysians into one entity, but how? The results has yet to be seen till today. We are still racially divided in all terms, aspects and policies.
Then, comes MCA factional infightings with both Ong Tee Keat and Dr Chua Soi Lek tussling each other in their power struggle until the recent EGM, then BN chairman Najib Razak stepped in to bring Ong and Dr Chua together as 1MCA. Later, the new MCA deputy president Liow Tiong Lai, youth chief Dr Wee Ka Siong and wanita chief Chew Mei Fun complained that they are unaware of the peace pact between Ong and Dr Chua and did not want to endorse it before reviewing it at the next central committee meeting. So, is there a 1MCA actually?
And the 1 brand continues with the recent implementation by the Trengganu Umno-led state government who introduced 1Toilet policy as one of the move to liberalise the education system. In the 1Toilet policy all school teachers and even headmasters will soon have to share toilets with their students in order for them to "mingle freely".
Today's report 1Dead and 2 missing at the 1Malaysia campsite in Kuala Dipang, Perak when a newly build suspension bridge collapsed while the pariticipating student campers were crossing the river. The three were a part of the 294 students from Standards 4, 5 and 6 of 64 schools in the Kinta Selatan district who were participating in the camp, which commenced yesterday and was due for completion the day after tomorrow. The question, has this campsite obtain its CF and OC? It is certainly a No!
Looks like the 1 brand had completely gone out of the way. What will be the future direction then?
