Communist and JI in Opposition parties? Prove it!

Recently, a police special branch principal assistant director in-charge of social extremist threat by the name of Mohd Sofian Mohd Makinuddin had claimed that the special branch had various information linking some high profile leaders of the opposition parties with Communists insurgency and Jemaah Islamiah (JI) terrorist activities.

He also described that the Communist is infiltrating into DAP, PSM and PKR while JI is doing it on PAS. Asides, the special branch principal assistant director also claimed that some leaders of PKR and PSM has been travelling very often to Bangkok and another region situated in Southern Thailand to hold secret talks and discussions with the leaders of the now-defunct Communist Party of Malaya (CPM). Mohd Sofian however did not elaborate further on PAS' connection with the JI terrorist cell.

First, can the special branch official name those opposition leaders who are involve with all these alleged Communist and JI contacts and its activities? Who are they, where and when did they met, whom they they met with and why are they meeting them? You need to establish a proper and clear picture onto the allegation that you are making against this country's opposition leaders before you spell it out in public.

Secondly, why aren't you making these arrests and initiate all those preventive measures since you said that there are already some elements of terrorist threat being discovered? Are these all just a mere allegations without any evidence or is this all just your own assumption or should we say, guessing game? Maybe, Mohd Sofian is somehow in the dreamland.

Indeed, the Barisan Nasional (BN) federal government does not have anything more to counter the rising influence of the opposition parties, thus decided to try this method out to scare of those opposition leaders from going all out in their campaign against injustice, corruption, power abuse, mismanagement, criminal breach of trusts and so on.

And when Mohd Sofian's statement got a firing back from most of the leaders of the opposition parties, the Umno president Najib Razak has decided to wash hands and push the buck to Umno vice-president and home minister Hishammuddin Hussein. By now, Hishammuddin seems to trying to push the buck away by saying he is "not sure" about the allegation made by the special branch official under the supervision of his ministry.

Come on, stop hiding behind the bushes! Is Hishammuddin telling the public that he as home minister does not even know nor aware of what  his officials are doing all these while, especially when some sensitive issues in relation with the national security and threat to the nation were not brought to his attention?

Now, coming back to that Mohd Sofian. Can you name all those who are allegedly Communist and JI members who had infiltrated into the opposition parties? We are challenging you to name all those guys that you claimed to had a report on.
