As the result of the attack, most of the students suffer injuries and one of them was send to the hospital for treatment. Apart from that, their mobile phones, cameras and their tents were also damaged.
Despite the attack, the 100 over students who has been camping at Dataran Merdeka had vowed to stay put until 28 April 2012.
Meanwhile, home minister and Umno vice-president Hishammuddin Hussein claimed that the attack on the students by these thugs who were linked with the ruling elites were only an "allegation" spread via SMS and online media and urge the public not to be influenced by such claims.
So, is Hishammuddin going to deny the fact and existence that some of these students has been injured and one particular activists was also being admitted to the hospital? Come on, there are some recorded features of the attack, an evident that shows these attacks really took place.
Guess what, Hishammuddin had called the police handling the case this morning to close the file and held the report to confirm that these students' injuries were self-inflicted and that one thug who was arrested last night has released unconditionally with no charges.
Good Policing, Hishammuddin!
