Sourcing illegal arms from overseas and Umno youth military trainings, Najib must explain

Even if the Umno-led BN federal government had successfully shut down those news portals who are critical to the establishment, we had already knew what is going on and the prime minister who is also the Umno president Najib Razak must explain to the people.

The recent reports are very alarming. The Umno youth are sending its selected members for intensive paramilitary training. The federal government was reported to had acquired large quantities of arms and ammunition not via official government channel but through a number of secret deals and illegal channels as well.

So, what exactly is going on right now? Why is Umno sending its youth members for paramilitary training? Why are they buying those arms through illegal channels and secret deals? If they are mean for our nation's armed force, why are they making such suspicious arm procurements? Is Umno planning to wage a war? War against who? The people and democracy?

We had clearly seen a number of crackdown on political dissidents recently. Some senior executives and managers of a popular radio station were being terminated for being critical on the federal government, two popular online news portals and the website of Parliamentary Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim were deliberately shut down or blocked, certain information which were related to power abuse and mismanagement of some government-linked companies (GLC) were withdrawn from the press and news agencies under the pretext of "for security reasons", opposition politics were denied open press coverages and journalist are instructed to minimize opposition and dissent reports and so on.

Where is our nation heading now? The economy is not improving, the inflation rate is going up, the people are unhappy with the current political situation and the rising tones of racism especially of those from Umno itself and its political step brother called Perkasa.

Racism is on the rise and what is the federal government going to do to curb all these terrorism? They are doing nothing but curbing those who are against racism instead? The entire situation had gone totally upside down! Those political animals and criminals were spared and free to do what they like, while the good ones were marked, arrested, interrogated and tortured both mentally and physically.

Again, where is our nation heading now? It looks like towards dictatorship and Fascism. Our nation is heading towards becoming a Fascist state. So, what about 1Malaysia? It's already dead long ago, ever since its inception.

We want to remind Najib, if you are not what has been said and reported recently, then explain to the people the entire situation and come out with your evidence and facts to prove them wrong. Otherwise, you are going to be suspicious and we are not going to trust any of your words anymore. Remember, your dad started the May 13 havoc in 1969 and you know - like father, like son.

As such, don't blame us. It's in your blood, unless you can prove otherwise.

EC should ask ROS to register Pakatan quickly

The Election Commission (EC) had recently advised the current opposition pact, Pakatan Rakyat comprising PAS, PKR and DAP, to register their coalition so that they could use their logo in the coming general election. EC deputy chairman Datuk Wan Ahmad Wan Omar said the coalition should be registered because the opposition parties were always seen violating regulations of the election campaign, especially on the use of their logo. Datuk Wan Ahmad seems to be overly ignorant and too forgetful on this issue. The EC deputy chairman should ask the Registrar of Societies (ROS) to quickly register the Pakatan instead of calling on Pakatan to register itself. Pakatan Rakyat had earlier send in their formal application to register itself as a coalition of political parties since November 2009 and ROS has yet to register the said entity till today after delaying and creating so many hassles for more than a year. USM fiasco a shame

I read and heard with irritation and felt disgusted with the fiasco committed by the apex status university called Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) which caused untold anguish to the affected students and their parents. If this happened in Japan, the Vice-Chancellor would have done the honourable thing - take full responsibilty and leave, but here in Malaysia, as expected, the blame is shifted here and there, trying to make someone a scapegoat. By the way, would there be any racist or sabotage elements involved? Those who are responsible for this fiasco should be sacked or expelled immediately.

Federal Constitution that Safeguards the Legitimate Rights and Interest of All Malaysians

The provisions of the Federal Constitution are very clear. It confirmed the position of the Malay Rulers, Islam as an official religion of the federation and special position of the Malays and the natives in Sabah and Sarawak whilst recalling that those provisions balance those special positions with safeguards to protect the legitimate rights and interests of the other communities in Malaysia which also includes their right to profess and practice their religions freely without being fear of any threats or being harmed by anybody. The legitimate interests of the non-Malays and non-Muslims would include, amongst others: a) Article 153 (9) says that business or trade cannot be solely reserved only for the Malays, b) Article 3 (1) says that the official religion of the federation is Islam BUT other religions are also allowed to be practiced in peace and harmony in any part of the federation.
