1Malaysia Club: Simply a bunch of fools and idiots

When the Bar Council initiated a nationwide campaign to educate our people, especially the youths on the basics and importance of knowing the Federal Constitution under the MyConstitution Program, some group of narrow minded politicians grouping themselves to be called 1Malaysia Graduate Youth Club had apparently came into light to attack this very good effort.

Well, one very stupid reason the 1Malaysia Graduates Youth Club gave was, the efforts carried out by the Bar Council in its MyConstitution Program would educate more people to know about their rights and ways of amending the Federal Constitution would soon made known to the general public.

That is why the leaders of the 1Malaysia Graduates Youth Club made a police report against the Bar Council. According to them getting more people to know their constitutional rights and the ways to amend the Federal Constitution were deemed to be harmful and seditious in the way that the people would later show their disrespect to our nation's highest legal documentation.

We are in opinion that there might be three categories of leaders in the 1Malaysia Graduates Youth Club. One group should be those of political motivated - racist minded leaders who were out to manipulate the current situation to benefit the ruling elites in Putrajaya, or the other kind belongs to those who were simply or innocently ignorant of the basic facts as stated in the Federal Constitution, which we would say they are a little stupid, while the third kind would consist of those still in denial mode - conservatives in nature, always insist to maintain that this nation should be governed by those of the "supreme race" with "special rights" which they claimed were written in the Federal Constitution.

No matter how detail we describe these three categories of leaders in the 1Malaysia Graduates Youth Club, to the general public, they are all simply a bunch of fools and idiots making a very fool of themselves.

Why are they making a very fool of themselves? Simply because they are all still in the dark side. Their futures and outlook for this nation has been darken ever since they were born and brought up. We really sympathize with them because eventhough they all had grown up but their maturity could not grow. The leaders in the 1Malaysia Graduates Youth Club are stuck in the darkest ever period and we are uncertain if they would be able to come out of their dark side.

Let us put these morons aside and come back with the Bar Council and their MyConstitution Program. As ordinary Malaysians, we are proud of the efforts carried out by the members of the Bar Council in initiating such positive and educating program.

To us, since they are a group of lawyers and their knowledge and vast experiences in law and the constitution, they are all in much better position then all of us, to educate our nation's youngsters of their rights as stated in the Federal Constitution. No only their rights, but also their human rights, their voting rights, their rights to determine who should be elected and administer this country and then their rights to vote out any government they deem not effective enough in championing the people's cause and welfare.

In fact these are the basic rights that our people especially the new generation of youngsters should know. These youngsters should also be given to understand that they are the pillars and the future of our nation.

Therefore, the people should not be afraid to come forward to ask more questions about the provisions and details of the Federal Constitution. If there are needs to have seminars and programs to promote understandings on the Federal Constitution, go ahead and organize as many of these events as possible in order to make the general public aware of our nation's highest stature of law.

It is your human rights to obtain and own a copy of the Federal Constitution for yourself and your family. As a parent it is also your duty to educate your children on the importance of the Federal Constitution and knowing all your basic rights. No one can stop you from doing this.

Knowing your rights as stated in the Federal Constitution does not mean that you will harm the current stature of the multiracial establishment in this country, knowing the details of the Federal Constitution does not mean that you would harm any government of the day, knowing what is in the Federal Constitution does not mean that you are threatening the national security of our nation nor going against the King and the Rulers.

Finally, it is the duty and lawful rights of our people to know the Federal Constitution, the State Constitutions and the various parliamentary statures of our nation in order to ensure our people would move forward together with our beloved nation.

Do not associate yourselves with fools and idiots like the 1Malaysia Graduates Youth Club and the other racist oriented groups who are out there to create more destruction and disunity.

EC should ask ROS to register Pakatan quickly

The Election Commission (EC) had recently advised the current opposition pact, Pakatan Rakyat comprising PAS, PKR and DAP, to register their coalition so that they could use their logo in the coming general election. EC deputy chairman Datuk Wan Ahmad Wan Omar said the coalition should be registered because the opposition parties were always seen violating regulations of the election campaign, especially on the use of their logo. Datuk Wan Ahmad seems to be overly ignorant and too forgetful on this issue. The EC deputy chairman should ask the Registrar of Societies (ROS) to quickly register the Pakatan instead of calling on Pakatan to register itself. Pakatan Rakyat had earlier send in their formal application to register itself as a coalition of political parties since November 2009 and ROS has yet to register the said entity till today after delaying and creating so many hassles for more than a year. USM fiasco a shame

I read and heard with irritation and felt disgusted with the fiasco committed by the apex status university called Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) which caused untold anguish to the affected students and their parents. If this happened in Japan, the Vice-Chancellor would have done the honourable thing - take full responsibilty and leave, but here in Malaysia, as expected, the blame is shifted here and there, trying to make someone a scapegoat. By the way, would there be any racist or sabotage elements involved? Those who are responsible for this fiasco should be sacked or expelled immediately.

Federal Constitution that Safeguards the Legitimate Rights and Interest of All Malaysians

The provisions of the Federal Constitution are very clear. It confirmed the position of the Malay Rulers, Islam as an official religion of the federation and special position of the Malays and the natives in Sabah and Sarawak whilst recalling that those provisions balance those special positions with safeguards to protect the legitimate rights and interests of the other communities in Malaysia which also includes their right to profess and practice their religions freely without being fear of any threats or being harmed by anybody. The legitimate interests of the non-Malays and non-Muslims would include, amongst others: a) Article 153 (9) says that business or trade cannot be solely reserved only for the Malays, b) Article 3 (1) says that the official religion of the federation is Islam BUT other religions are also allowed to be practiced in peace and harmony in any part of the federation.
