Project IC: Can Sabah Umno come clean?
Not even the opposition Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP), Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR), DAP, but BN component parties, Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS), United Pasokmomugun Kadazandusun Organization (Upko), Sabah Liberal Democratic PArty (LDP) and Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah (PBRS) too came forward to raise their complaints over this issue which had longed since 2006.
The funny thing is Sabah Umno did not forward any complaints on this issue. It is because the state Umno had in fact benefited from the influx of these illegal immigrants which had eventually allow them to hold on power in Sabah for so long.
Ever since Sabah Umno took the state government in 1994, the Kadazan-Dusun being the largest ethnic community there has been systematically pushed aside. Although the Kadazan-Dusun ethnic had almost about 18% and seen as the majority in the state but they could not rule Sabah due to Umno's dominance.
For Umno's dominance in Sabah, it has to be totally dependent on the immigrants from Indonesia and Philippines' Bansa Moro. As such, it has been reported that, these illegal immigrants has been systematically granted with Malaysian identities in exchange of their utmost loyalty and votes for Umno. This is how Umno maintain its power in Sabah.
For example, those born in Sabah had increased about 120,000 between 1951 to 1960 but doubtfully, the total number of voters as per the electoral roll 1999 for those who are born between 1952 and 1960 had saw a mysterious increase to 150,000 people.
Therefore, if 80% of the 120,000 had registered as voters, then the total number should have been less than 100,000 but how come the electoral roll has 150,000 instead? Where did the extras came from? We supposed this is the question that Umno would find it hard to answer?
Let us see if situation were to spread over to peninsular Malaysia, because Umno would eventually loose all the Malay votes. What will become of this country if the situation does happen. We would be eventually ruled by these Indonesian, Bangladeshi and Rohingya illegal immigrants.
In fact there are already some "Bangladeshis" and "Indonesians" in Umno and we would be able to see some impact in the near future.
