Homosexuality is unconstitutional, is corruption lawful?
So what about gambling and consuming alcohol? Gambling and drinking alcohol are also against Islam, and Islam is the religion of the federation. In this case the Genting Casino is also unconstitutional. Right or not? Yet, why doesn't the BN government ban the casino as well?
Now how about explaining why all the other unIslamic practises are allowed in this country. Don't get us wrong, we don't condone homosexuality, but do please give us a better argument and detailed explanation as your interpretation is very much discriminating.
Although we do not condone homosexuality, but these kind of people are also human beings but just because they are born in such circumstances, it does not mean that they are against the country's constitution. They did not ask to be in such condition in the first place.
They are the citizens of this country too. Instead of condemning them in a very harsh way, the government should come up with some proper and humane kind of mechanism to help this people. You cannot just outlaw and pressure them into the underground. If you opt for such move, more of them would eventually go into underground, thus encouraging widespread of immoral activities in this country.
Now, coming to corruption. Corruption has been very much rampant in this country and the BN government as well. As you can see, many leaders of Umno has been picked up and charged in the court for their various corrupt practices. However, some top Umno guns who are much more corrupted are still out there enjoying their lives, while their junior ones are told to take the blame on their behalf.
Why didn't Datuk Nazri declare corruption is also against Islam as well? Look Islam is the religion of the federation. Therefore, it should also be unconstitutional as well, isn't it so?
Besides, Datuk Nazri's interpretation is also wrong. Islam is the official religion of the federation according to the constitution but it does not mean that Islam is the constitution itself entirely. Datuk Nazri as a lawyer himself had failed to study in detail the constitution and its legal implication to our people, instead making more confusing statements, thus making our people confuse too.
So, get your facts right before you open your mouth!
