Delaying Pakatan's registration, is ROS taking side?

Well, we have heard and seen the commitment of Pakatan Rakyat (PR) which consist of PAS, DAP and PKR to come up with an official coalition to fight Barisan Nasional (BN) in the next general elections.

They had submitted their application to register the PR coalition to the Registrar of Societies (ROS) and followed through the numerous hassles and bureaucratic proceedings made out by the ROS officials, as a tactic to prevent PR from being registered to quickly.

Everything dam procedures has been followed, in accordance with the Societies Act and the submissions after submissions and follow-ups after follow-ups has been carried out by the PR national secretariat, but to-date, the ROS has yet to reply nor response to the application.

The worst thing was ROS director-general Datuk Abdul Rahman Othman had deliberately mentioned that he has not receive any application from the PR secretariat to register the opposition coalition.

This means, Datuk Abdul Rahman doesn't even know what are his ROS officers doing on the ground. What else is Datuk Abdul Rahman doing, perhaps spending most of his time playing golf with his cronies, friends or business associates?

Or is it because the ROS director-general has received instructions from the Umno vice-president Datuk Hishammuddin Hussein, who is also the home affairs minister to discourage and to tactically delay the registration of the PR coalition until the next general elections is over?

Yes, there is a possibility that the ROS had received directives from the Umno minister to delay the approval for the registration of PR in order to buy more time in trying to disintegrate the currently unofficial coalition of PAS, DAP and PKR with a number of religious and racial matters currently being stirred up by a number of Umno and Perkasa leaders.

Apart from PR, the application for registration of Parti Sosialis Malaysia (PSM) has also been systematically delayed for years reasoning "national security" matters being reviewed. The PSM however in the later year managed to obtain a court injunction to order the ROS to have the PSM registered and approved immediately.

The latest victim of ROS is the Human Rights Party (HRP) whose application for registration has been delayed for another year despite having all its details and facts followed in accordance to the procedures of the ROS and Societies Act.

However, we could see BN-friendly political parties like Parti Kesejahteraan Insan Tanah Air (KITA), Parti Cinta Malaysia (PCM), Makkal Sakhti Party (MSP) and Malaysian Indian United Party (MIUP) are being approved and registered so quickly without any hassle or delays. ROS said they followed all the procedures. So does PR, PSM and HRP, and why aren't they being approved and registered as their applications too are in order?

Yeah, ROS said KITA, PCM, MSP and MIUP followed all the procedures, means that they are toeing the BN's line! It is a fact.
