The Bible is threatening while the nuclear smells good!

Well, the BN federal government has already decided today that they would go ahead with plans to construct two nuclear plants in our nation despite wide protests from our people here. What else could they think of? Only instant profit is in their mind. Never mind with the people as they won't give them any benefit other that uncertain votes.

But with nuclear power, the BN leaders could use it as a bargaining tool to ensure they would remain in power longer.

Generating nuclear power is easy and cheap, but haven't they consider the consequences to our nation in the long run? Haven't they look into how to dispose all these nuclear waste in future? Are you all going to just throw it in our backyard or neighbourhood?

We are not going to let that happen! We all still could remember during the reign of former premier Tun Dr Mahathir Mohammad who initially allowed nuclear waste from Taiwan to be delivered and disposed in Bukit Merah but his attempt was cut short following mass protest from our people.

And looks like the Malay language Bible is even more dangerous than the nuclear waste. 35,000 copies of these holy books were detained in two ports for so long, only to be reluctantly released by the home ministry officials due to the impending Sarawak state elections.

What have the ministry officials done then? It's certainly a silent revenge against our innocent Christian friends who are also Malaysians. Prior to the release, all the said holy books were purposely defaced with a large size stamp on the holy books' pages cautioning Christians that their holy books are only mean for Christians and added serial numbers onto each of the copies.

In the name of the so-called man-made "Islamic supremacy", they are defacing another religion just because its books also share the same word in Arabic. In the Quran, we cannot find any verse that would say that all religions should come under the jurisdiction of Islam.

By defacing the Bible would mean defacing Islam itself - making people more difficult to accept that Islam is a religion of peace.

Have the home minister Hishammuddin Hussein ever think of that over and over again? You insulted the Christians by defacing their holy book which contain the word of God and we are certain that Muslims would feel just as hurt or insulted if the Quran is stamped and defaced in such a way.

People of different faith and religions are always encouraged by their religions to read as much as possible in order to enrich and arm themselves with viable knowledge. Even so, the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. had informed and taught all Muslims, go all out to seek knowledge.

Isn't it all these funny? These BN leaders didn't fear the danger of the radioactive materials spilling all over our nation but treat the Bibles as if they contain radioactive particles.

And that shows and proven Umno's supremacy, arrogance and power crazy in handling such situation. The fact that the usual bunch of useless leaders from MCA, Gerakan, MIC, PPP, PBS, PRS, SUPP, PBRS, LDP continue to tolerate the Umno's warlordism and supremacy, thus ignoring the plight of our people.

Even MCA and Gerakan came out to do some cowardly views saying that this cannot and that cannot but what they can do in the end? They couldn't do anything but to just watch all those holy books being defaced.

Even Gerakan with its usual tone "breaking ranks" with Umno "temporary" by saying they are against the proposed nuclear plants but what they could do in the end? Yet the cabinet still approved the construction of these nuclear plants. So Gerakan, do you have enough guts to leave the BN coalition for the sake of your principle, stand and to uphold the people's will?

Do you all still want these kind of BN "sandiwara" leaders?
