Improve service first before you take our money, BN government told
According to Datuk Kong again, motorist will not be slapped with demerit points if they settle the outstanding summonses within three months. Depending on the categories of the offense, motorist can save as much as RM150 for each summonses if they choose to pay within 15 days from the date of the summons that were issued.
Looks like the transport minister is working on getting as much profit as possible for the Road Transport Department (JPJ) and the traffic police. The BN federal government is just looking at profits by taking advantages on our people.
You are giving us the rates and the number of days that we should settle our summons or else...! But you did not say how would the JPJ and traffic police ensure that these traffic summonses reach the motorist in time before certain abiding time expires?
Are these new systems only applies to traffic summonses that are issued by the JPJ and traffic police personnel in the presence of the motorists or when the said offenses were caught right handed?
What about those traffic offenses that are caught without the knowledge of the motorist themselves and they will only get to know 6 months or a year after when they are not able to renew their road tax and driving license?
For years, a lots of people had complained and highlighted that getting to know on the existence of their traffic summonses via internet and online systems aren't sufficient. There are hundreds of occasion where motorists did not find any records of their traffic summonses eve if they were to check them immediately after their journeys or travels, nor even the first two to three months after that thus, assuming that they had not commit any traffic summonses so far, only in horror to find that after 6 months to a year that they had committed the traffic offenses 5 to 11 months ago.
So, we would like to question Datuk Kong again. Is the current online system handling and managing the traffic summonses efficient enough to inform the motorist within 14 days after the traffic offenses were committed? Have you ever look into these and address it by improving the downloading time for each of every traffic offenses that you caught everyday so that motorists could look into the online system immediately in order to pay their summonses on time or within 15 days stipulated by you?
Has the BN federal government ever think of helping the people to settle their traffic summonses on time by providing a better and efficient online service to the people? Or is the BN federal government merely looking at making more profits via fines and summonses.
Please remember that majority of our people do not enjoy any specific lifestyles nowadays as claimed by the prime minister Datuk Najib Razak because we do not even have any! You raised the prices of the fuels and our other essential items, such as sugar, vegetables, cooking oils, bread, milk, flour and a lot more, you withdrawn the subsidies that helps the people reasoning that your treasury is going bankrupt.
On several occasions, when your treasury is drying up, you always blame our people for that. You blame us for spending too much, you blame us for not saving enough, you blame us for not following these rule and that rules, you blame us for not adhering to this laws and that law, this, that, there and so many other restrictions.
As such, instead of doing something that will help improve the livelihood and the betterment of our people, these BN leaders are making our lives more miserable everyday by making this and that rules which are very inconvenient to our people.
These BN leaders had already took our money away, took away our lifestyles, took away the knowledge from our children, hid from us the truth, took away justice, took away equality, took away our social dignity and they even took away democracy from our people, finally they even want to take away our constitutional and human rights, as well as our Malaysian identity.
So, with all these bad and ugly side of yours, how are we going to respect your so-called "law and order"? How are we going to see that your so-called "law and order" are genuine enough for us to adhere to?
Or do you want us to opt for an easiest way, change the government i.e. by voting you out in the next general election.
