Two-thirds majority for BN in next GE to revamp MACC not needed. It's a political ploy

In the recently statement, Umno president and prime minister Najib Razak had promised to revamp the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) to give it more powers to appoint its officers and to conduct investigations on all corrupt activities but on condition that the people should vote for the Barisan Nasional (BN) in the next general elections to give them a two-thirds majority. It seems the Umno president is thinking that the people are so easily being fooled. The fact that is if BN regain its two-thirds majority in the next general elections, they will certainly use their powers to reduce the roles of MACC to the minimum. Come on! Even a kid will definitely give you the answer that Pakatan Rakyat parliamentarians too supported the effort to empower MACC to the maximum level. Why on earth does BN wanted a two-thirds majority in the parliament in order to revamp and give more powers to the MACC? Are they saying that Pakatan is supporting corruption?
