Bersih 2.0 can't assemble peacefully, but Umno can burn houses and offices

Upon arrival at the PKR Headquarters, these mobs of Umno youth members and the Putera Umno mat rempits began to assemble in front of the PKR office entrance, starting to yell, shout, chanting slogans of hatred and revenge and sounded their motorcycles' engines continuously.
While demonstrating outside the PKR Headquarters, these mobs of Umno youth members and the Putera Umno mat rempits began to turn unruly and chased away most of the passer by who walked at the nearby areas. The Umno mobsters later sounded their demand that those who are still in the PKR Headquarters to come out.
Failing to see any of the PKR office staffs despite their demands, the mobsters led by Lukman Adam, the Umno youth exco member, began to issue a final stern warning to the PKR office staffs on the first floor. Seeing that nobody is heeding his warning, Lukman then began to issue a threat to burn down the entire building that currently houses the PKR Headquarters with all those PKR office staffs inside.
What the police did? They arrived hours after the Umno demonstrations there had already created very much disturbance and threatened the security and public order in that area. These policemen arrived with their battle gears just standing there, watching and laughing. Some of the police personnel were also seen chatting with a few Umno demonstrators without doing anything to curb the unrest who had gone unruly earlier.
For your information, the gang of Umno youth members and Putera Umno mat rempits who assembled in front of the PKR Headquarters to demonstrate had done so in an illegal manner. They did not apply for any permit to gather in that area with a large gang. It shows that their demonstrations is an illegal and unlawful one. And yet to police had failed to act against them just because those who carried out the illegal gathering there were all Umno members.
It is a clear fact that the law and its stature had already gone hay wire and it is no more worth our respect anymore. Why? These reasons can best describe herein:
- Umno can threaten and even burn down houses, offices or buildings, but Bersih 2.0 cannot assemble peacefully to convey our message for a free and fair elections,
- Umno members can chant racist and hate slogans, threatening our people with bloodshed and death, but Bersih 2.0 cannot even raise their concerns on the current unjust electoral process nor asking for an electoral reform,
- Umno members can carry and wave their parangs, keris or whatever daggers in public places in order to threaten and warn the people around them, but Bersih 2.0 supporters are not even allow to light up candles or to sing songs promoting freedom and democracy,
- Umno members can wear their dark red t-shirts with anti-unity signs, going round the whole country for their so-called roadshows, but Bersih 2.0 supporters are not even allowed to wear their clean yellow t-shirts and organize their roadshows nationwide to explain and brief our people on the importance of their campaign for a free and fair elections,
- Umno members can assemble and demonstrate whenever they like without the need of getting a permit to do so, while Bersih 2.0 supporters are not even allow to apply for the permit to assemble and rally for our people to promote justice, democracy, freedom, equality and a fair socio-economic distribution for our people,
- The police said they will launched a nationwide crackdown on the Bersih 2.0 events nationwide, but no crackdown on the illegal counter-rallies organized by Umno youth and Perkasa.
So, you could see here, there are two sets of law here. One applies to the ruling elites where whatever they do would be deemed within the law, while for those who wanted to do something for our people were all considered outlawed.
In this case, we want to ask the law enforcers and authorities concerned, how are we going to respect and abide by the law that you are enforcing while you applying the same sets of law differently to two different groups of people?
If if these sets of law are applied differently to two kinds of people with the similar situation, how can you expect us to respect, follow and abide by the said rules? It does not make any sense at all if you are going to say that we broke the laws, we didn't have the permits to gather, we cannot talk about this and we cannot do that, but in the end it is those Umno extremists and morons who can do whatever they want to, whatever they like to, even to an extend of threatening, issuing public warning, wanting to create violence, bloodshed and murder those who reject their cause.
In a simple word, if you don't have all these ridiculous rules and laws, then no one will ever "break" any of of them. Isn't so? What is the use of setting a law for someone to abide to while allowing the others to break it with your one eye closed?
Should we say, the police may also allow these Umno or Perkasa suicide bombers to carry out their deadly attack on the opposition parties in future?
