We don't give a dam on those crackdown!

Whatever the Umno-led BN federal government wish to do, be it a second Ops Lalang, a massive crackdown nationwide, ISA threat, dispatching tanks into the cities, sending helicopter gunships to shoot our people, putting snipers on the roofs to kill our people, you name it, we don't give a dam on all these threats.

It shows that the Umno-dominated government is in its most desperate position. They are indeed very, very afraid of losing power, they are afraid of the people knowing their bad deeds, their cover-ups, their power abuses, mismanagement, missing public funds, and on their plans to arrests and to murder political dissidents one by one.

We all knew that the Umno government is now mobilizing the entire police special branch, the air force intelligence, naval intelligence and the army intelligence personnel nationwide to ensure the racist party's political survival is prolong.

First, massive crackdown was being carried out and Parti Sosialis Malaysia (PSM) activists were the first to be detained while on their way to north to attend a pre-Bersih 2.0 briefing, accusing them of inciting communism and attempting to wage war against the King.

Umno's plan is very clear. They spruced up the subject of communism in order to confuse the Malay supporters of the Bersih 2.0 rally as well as the community's electorate, to incite hatred on the opposition alliance Pakatan Rakyat.

See, how rush are they in bringing those 30 over PSM activists to court today, eventhough today is Sunday and the court offices were closed. The magistrate and the deputy public prosecutor were deliberately summoned out from their weekend holiday to just handle only the case of these 60 activists from PSM. How are crazy are those extreme Umno cohorts! They are now so desperate and afraid of losing their office of power.

Later, they will proceed with further arrests on the Bersih organizers, parliamentary opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Selangor menteri besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim, DAP parliamentary leader Lim Kit Siang, PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Ismail, Penang chief minister Lim Guan Eng, PSM chairman Dr Nasir Hashim, PAS president Ustaz Datuk Seri Hadi Awang, PKR deputy president Azmin Ali, PAS deputy president Mohamad Sabu and so on.

Well, again, we don't give a dam on all those threats of purge, crackdown or arrests. Use it onto the entire nation. And if you wish to, declare a martial law onto the entire nation and send in your troops and tanks to suppress our people with your guns.

Let the entire world know what it is about on the Malaysian police state and that of the Umno dictatorship of governance.

And by God and Allah's grace, our people would become firmer and the Bersih 2.0 rally shall carry on as scheduled. May God and Allah protect those who protect humankind, justice, freedom, equality and democracy.

EC should ask ROS to register Pakatan quickly

The Election Commission (EC) had recently advised the current opposition pact, Pakatan Rakyat comprising PAS, PKR and DAP, to register their coalition so that they could use their logo in the coming general election. EC deputy chairman Datuk Wan Ahmad Wan Omar said the coalition should be registered because the opposition parties were always seen violating regulations of the election campaign, especially on the use of their logo. Datuk Wan Ahmad seems to be overly ignorant and too forgetful on this issue. The EC deputy chairman should ask the Registrar of Societies (ROS) to quickly register the Pakatan instead of calling on Pakatan to register itself. Pakatan Rakyat had earlier send in their formal application to register itself as a coalition of political parties since November 2009 and ROS has yet to register the said entity till today after delaying and creating so many hassles for more than a year. USM fiasco a shame

I read and heard with irritation and felt disgusted with the fiasco committed by the apex status university called Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) which caused untold anguish to the affected students and their parents. If this happened in Japan, the Vice-Chancellor would have done the honourable thing - take full responsibilty and leave, but here in Malaysia, as expected, the blame is shifted here and there, trying to make someone a scapegoat. By the way, would there be any racist or sabotage elements involved? Those who are responsible for this fiasco should be sacked or expelled immediately.

Federal Constitution that Safeguards the Legitimate Rights and Interest of All Malaysians

The provisions of the Federal Constitution are very clear. It confirmed the position of the Malay Rulers, Islam as an official religion of the federation and special position of the Malays and the natives in Sabah and Sarawak whilst recalling that those provisions balance those special positions with safeguards to protect the legitimate rights and interests of the other communities in Malaysia which also includes their right to profess and practice their religions freely without being fear of any threats or being harmed by anybody. The legitimate interests of the non-Malays and non-Muslims would include, amongst others: a) Article 153 (9) says that business or trade cannot be solely reserved only for the Malays, b) Article 3 (1) says that the official religion of the federation is Islam BUT other religions are also allowed to be practiced in peace and harmony in any part of the federation.
