IGP over emotional and unprofessional

Image
The inspector general of police (IGP) Tan Sri Musa Hasan who lashes out sarcastically at public outcries over the fatal shooting of a 15 year old boy had been overly emotional and unprofessional. In fact the way Musa quoted "if you do not want the police to enforce the law, then say so" and "let me know so that I can tell my men to not take any action, including conducting inspections on vehicles or arresting Mat Rempits who ride without licenses" shows his immaturity as the highest ranking police officer in this country. If this is the way he said and he does mean it, that means Musa is threatening the public and he intentionally wanted to take the public as ransom. If you cannot control your frustration, emotions and anger, then resign from the police force by requesting the home affairs minister to cut short your contract. We know your contract would be expiring soon, then go off as early as you can. We are now challenging you, Musa to see if you really dare p...

Traitors awarded Datukship and acquitted from corruption charges

Image
As expected, the three Perak state assemblymen who contributed to the Umno sponsored coup d'etat which toppled the Perak state government early of last year were all handsomely rewarded for their "good" job done. Jelapang state assemblyman Hee Yit Foong was awarded a Datukship by the Sultan of Perak on recommendation by the Perak Umno rebel state government, while the other two assemblymen Jamaluddin Mohd Radzi and Mohd Osman Mohd Jailu have been freed of their corruption charges involving a RM180 million housing development project in Seri Iskandar near Ipoh. It is very clear that the rewards that these three assemblymen got were part of a ā€œpackage dealā€ offered by the Umno-led Barisan Nasional (BN) to seize power and to topple the elected state government last year. As such, we view all these as an insult to the democratic rights of the people in the Perak state. An act of betrayal of trust given to them by the people. We hope in the next general election or should t...

Exco Ronnie Liu's political aide acquitted of CBT

Image
Three weeks after he was freed of a charge of submitting a false invoice, Wong Chuan How, special aide to Selangor State Executive Councillor Ronnie Liu, was acquitted and discharged by the Sessions Court here today of criminal breach of trust involving RM5,000. Judge Azhaniz Teh Azman Teh held that the prosecution had failed to make out a prima facie case against him and ordered that his surety be returned to him. On April 2, the same court acquitted and discharged Wong of a charge of submitting a false allocation form and invoice for the supply of 2,500 car flags for RM2,500, also without calling for his defense. We wish to congratulate Wong as justice had finally being served. After all the political motivated accusations, harassment, insults and assault made against him by MACC and its officers. We also hope Wong will seek justice and file a claim against the MACC for injuring him during the "interrogation" on the false corruption and power abuse allegations.

Explain APCO deals to the people, Umno told

Image
Since the expose APCO deal with the Umno-led BN federal government initiated by Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in the parliament, the prime minister and his government ministers had yet to give detail explanation on their administration's involvement with the Israel-American organization which was seen to had penetrated into all aspects of our nation's security. Instead, the prime minister and his government ministers insisted that there are no direct involvement of APCO in their administration and our country's security apparatus, but merely as adviser to certain unimportant areas. After all the exposures of your documentations and various agreements with APCO in public and yet you still deny the existence? Are you going to think that we are going to believe what you had said and denied about APCO? We are not bloody fools and small kids for you to play around with. We are now matured and we are seeing what had and is happening now. You can fool ancestors 50 yea...

Stop manipulating the electoral list, EC told

Image
We wish to urge the Elections Commission (EC) to stop manipulating the electoral list for the upcoming Hulu Selangor parliamentary by-election. EC knew that why are they being often condemned all these years. Because the EC did not act professionally. Names of voters in the electoral lists all over the nation were often manipulated in order to favour the ruling Umno-led BN federal government, in order for them to maintain their two-thirds majority and to disqualify opposition candidates as well. EC is not accountable to the parliament, because EC has been structured under the jurisdiction of the prime minister's department. So do we see EC as a neutral organization that conducts free and fair elections? When an Umno minister complained that the Malaysian for Free and Fair Election (Mafrel), an independent elections watch group was a tool of Pakatan Rakyat, EC immediately terminated Mafrel's role from its list of NGO-based election watch groups. If Mafrel is a Pakatan's tool...

What has MIC done for the people?

Image
What has MIC done for the people all these years? Nothing, completely nothing at all! The only did it for themselves. Created yet another section for the Malaysian Indian community, the "golongan bangsawan India". The majority of our fellow ordinary Malaysian Indians in this country today are still in the hardcore poor segment. The rich are getting even wealthier while the poor are getting even poorer, lack of education and being left out of the current development phase. What happened to Maika Holdings Bhd and Maju Institute of Education Development (MIED) are the very clear evidence that MIC did nothing for the betterment of our fellow Malaysian Indian community but merely trying their best to fill up their respective pockets as full as possible. If MIC were to have did the good things that they claimed to had, it would not split into the Indian Progressive Front (IPF), Malaysian United Indian Party (MUIP), Kongres India Muslim Malaysia (Kimma), Makkal Sakhti Party (MSP), H...

Why BN Umno resorts to barbaric type of banners and campaigns?

Image
Before we start off with it, we want to repeat our question which we had been asking before, on and on. Why is BN always resorting to barbaric type of banners to campaign, expressing their hate towards others and depicting other races as low class? What is so great about BN and Umno anyway? A campaign banner that stood out from the BN and Umno entourage to the nomination centre for the Hulu Selangor by-election here yesterday was one that depicted top leaders of PKR as pigs. This particular banner attracted the attention of many not only because it was so unconventional, it was also because the big pictorial banner was being hoisted at the forefront of the procession by the BN group, led by none other than the UMNO Youth leaders. In the BN coalition, all the Umno leaders used to repeatedly view themselves as a coalition of multiracial political parties aiming at achieving "national unity and equality" but what are shown and demonstrated so recently does not even prove that th...

In BN, you can't even decide your own candidate

Image
Yes, it has been clearly shown. In the BN coalition of which MIC is a component party, the later cannot even decide on its own candidate to contest in the upcoming by-election in the Hulu Selangor parliamentary constituency. When MIC proposed its deputy president G.Palanivel to contest the parliamentary seat, Umno said no to Samy Vellu and insisted that MIC deputy youth chief V.Mugilan should contest. But Mugilan who is not aligned to the Samy Vellu's faction. Then Umno strongly demanded that Palanivel should not be allowed to contest at all cost as he is not Umno's favorite. Umno summoned Samy Vellu to their headquarters and demanded that Samy accept another MIC man of their choice, this time is P.Kamalanathan. In order to prolong his political survival, Samy has no choice but to bow to Umno's pressure by accepting Kamalanathan as the BN candidate. Did you all know that on the nomination day held yesterday, BN candidate P.Kamalanathan was stationed in the Umno Hulu Selango...

Senatorship as compensation for MIC deputy president

The BN and Umno leaders had came up with a compromise with the MIC president recently that its party deputy president Datuk G. Palanivel would be offered a senatorship (member of the Dewan Negara) to compensate the later for not being selected to contest in the Hulu Selangor parliamentary by-elections. A source from inside MIC had also informed that Datuk Palanivel will also be given a deputy ministerial post in order not to offend his supporters in Hulu Selangor into voting for PKR as a protest. It shows that even though Palanivel is the MIC deputy president, he is no more relevant in the party itself and in the eyes of the BN and Umno as well. The looked at him as a burden, risky and may also jeopardize the BN's chances of winning an election. It is also certain that Palanivel will also not be allowed to contest in the next general election. Palanivel is not considered an asset to the BN coalition anymore as he is now viewed more like a stumbling block instead. So, is Palanivel g...

Vet your candidates properly, PKR told

With strings of resignations of its elected representatives with the recent one from Bakar Arang, Kedah today, the top leadership of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) must seriously think of a right mechanism in vetting its candidates before putting them to contest in the next general election. These opportunist who were elected as state assemblymen or members of parliament via PKR ticket in the last general election had left the party because they were dissatisfied with the leadership for not awarding them with various governmental or state GLC positions and also because they were being dropped from their governmental positions. As such, the PKR leaders must start doing their homework now, learn from your mistakes, gather the information and intelligence all you can from your grassroots level, start identifying potential candidates and groom them up now, vet and appraise them regularly so that you can identify the best ones for the next general election. At this time, if you face more resi...

Boycott "small fry" inter-faith panel, inter-religious leaders told

Image
The deputy prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin said today the inter-faith panel set up by the cabinet consisted only of ā€œsmall-fryā€ and it will not have any influence over the nation because there is no legal powers in the committee. That means, this so-called Umno-led BN federal government sponsored inter-faith panel is powerless. The minister Dr Koh Tsu Koon who earlier announced the formation of this committee is also powerless leader. Being the minister in charge of national unity in the prime minister's department, Dr Koh was not even given a prominent role in this inter-faith panel. If he is powerless to initiate any roles in the panel, then this whole effort of his are useless. Therefore, we urge all religious leaders to boycott this "small fry" inter-faith panel as it is a powerless body and it would a waste of time to participate in a panel which is already seen as ineffective. It is very clear that the Umno-led BN federal government is cheating the entire nation b...

Federal Constitution determines citizenship, not Umno or Perkasa

Image
Most of us had heard and seen various comments and actions made by leaders of Umno and a racially extremist organization Perkasa saying that the other Malaysians should be grateful of their citizenship given by "them" and demanded citizenship to withdrawn from those who ask or question their so-called rights. Please be reminded that it is the Federal Constitution that had granted us the right as Malaysians, not any tom dick and harry like Umno or Perkasa. These two organizations had no right at all to determine whether we should be Malaysians or otherwise. Umno is just an ordinary political party, while Perkasa is just a tiny association claimed to represent their race, registered under the Societies Act. So these two organizations were never part of the Federal Constitution. Therefore, do not misuse the Federal Constitution for your political purposes or whatever racially motivated agendas you may have in mind. The Federal Constitution is for all Malaysians and our rights ar...

Dr Pornthip pressured to stay out of Teoh's inquest

Image
Renowned Thai pathologist Dr Pornthip Rojanasunand will not be testifying at the Teoh Beng Hock inquest when it resumes hearing on April 20 citing ā€œpolitical pressureā€ from the Malaysia's Umno-led BN federal government. Political pressure from Umno had indeed affected efforts to seek justice for the late Teoh Beng Hock who was found murdered at the Selangor MACC headquarters in Shah Alam. Umno did not want the truth to be revealed for fear of jeopardizing their federal government's image. Umno did not want this inquest to embarrass the MACC because they had realize that something had really went wrong at the Selangor MACC headquarters. And another, Umno did not want this inquest to damage their efforts to regain the Hulu Selangor parliamentary seat in the upcoming by-election. For the sake of justice for the late Teoh Beng Hock, Mrs Teoh Beng Hock and all his family members, we urge Dr Pornthip to be firm in her stand and go to the inquest to testify against those MACC murderer...

The political police force in PDRM

Image
Why did we say that the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) had taken into the role of being a political police force? We got the reasons that people will certainly agree to. It is indeed that PDRM is a political police force today. The reason is they are always subject to instructions and directions laid down by Umno and its various allies in order to serve the interest of these political leaders in high office. Each time whenever there are any leaders of the opposition parties who made statements which are no in line with the political aspirations of the Umno warlords and leaders, police reports one after another will be made by hundreds of them in order to pressure the police to act against the opposition for voicing out their opinions or made speeches that are unsuitable to the Umno's political stands. When there are opposition party leaders and members assembling or rallying to voice their opinions for and on behalf of the public, truck loads with thousands of police personnel are a...

Is Pakatan mere occupants of BN developments?

Image
The development in states administered by the PKR-DAP-PAS coalition is a legacy of the Barisan Nasional (BN) government, deputy minister in the prime ministerā€™s department Datuk Ahmad Maslan said yesterday. According to Maslan again the Pakatan is merely an occupant of the BN development, whether it is in Kedah, Kelantan, Penang or Selangor, and more so in (the parliamentary constituency of) Hulu Selangor. We are very certain that the voters had realize the true meaning of development. Who gave the development? Yes, its BN and we all cannot deny that and it has already been proven all these while. What the BN has been doing all these years is keep on developing, developing and bringing up states and areas which are Pakatan strongholds. Just because these states and areas which are Pakatan strongholds, the phase of developments in such states and areas are even faster and better. But what about states and areas which are controlled by the BN, particularly Umno? No development and its ph...

EPF's alleged insider trading. Scandal again?

Image
The Securities Commission (SC) said recently that it is following up on claims that the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) was potentially involved in insider trading of Malaysian Resources Corporation Bhd (MRCB) shares. We hope the allegation is untrue and inaccurate. If this is found to be true, we want all those who are involved in abusing the workers' hard earned money to be hauled up and charged in the court of law for mismanagement of public funds. EPF had recently declared a reasonably high dividend rate for the last financial year and we appreciate that, but it does not mean by having the excess of funds, you can do whatever you like with the workers' money. It is our money and not yours. EPF is where we as employees save our hard earnings for our old age in future once we all retire. If the EPF management team cannot manage or prevent such power abuses, we are suggesting a new federal government to take over and put EPF in a proper order. Just another reminder, "EPF...

BN component parties, what are you waiting for?

Image
The Umno leaders had again shown their refusal to respect and instead flexes their supremacy fist on their fellow BN component parties in the recent Selangor BN convention. In the Selangor BN convention which was held in Shah Alam, only the BN and Umno songs were sung. MCA, MIC, PPP and Gerakan delegates were also taken by surprise by the convention's organizers. In the opening speech by Selangor Umno deputy chairman Datuk Noh Omar, he told the BN delegates, " rakyat bukan Melayu sepatutnya berterima-kasih kerana diberikan kerakyatan " and " orang Melayu telah banyak berkorban demi rakan-rakan bukan Melayu " which are an indirect hint to all members of the BN coalition not to question or criticize the Umno's supremacist concept anymore. Even in front of their fellow BN component parties, the Umno leaders are openly promoting racism and hatred on the other races. They did it without any hesitation at all. So, we want to ask MCA, MIC, PPP and Gerakan, what ar...

RM6.5b army contract amended to RM6.5m

Image
The RM6.5 billion contract to supply fresh rations to the armed forces in three northern states that was listed on the governmentā€™s new tender portal has now been amended to RM6.5 million after it was questioned by DAP National Publicity Secretary Tony Pua in the parliament recently. An attempt corruption and power abuse in the defense ministry food tender nearly happen, if not because of the DAP MP who had discovered it and brought it up in the parliamentary session. Those who were behind all these plan are now cursing like hell just because their attempt to misuse the public funds had been blocked. Prior to this, we are very certain that there had been a lots of such power play in seeking to obtain various governmental contracts, where much of these would normally go to the local Umno leaders, such as divisional chairmen, committee members and branch heads. Implementing the MyProcurement system isn't going to make the entire tendering system transparent, but it has to be carrie...

Hulu Selangor by-election : Crack in the BN fold

Image
Signs of crack within the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition is very clear now, as the Umno Hulu Selangor division had threatened to boycott the by-election campaign should the BN leadership decides to put MIC deputy president Datuk G.Palanivel to contest in the said parliamentary constituency. The Umno division in that area had earlier insisted that its candidate should be chosen to contest in that parliamentary constituency based on the racial composition there. The current racial composition of the Hulu Selangor parliamentary constituency are 53.9% Malays, with Chinese at 26.7%, while the Indians stands at 19% and others 0.4%. According to the Umno division deputy chairman Adnan Buyong it is time that the should be given the opportunity to contest since MIC had lost the area in the last general election. MIC, looks like your deputy president is being bullied by an Umno division deputy chairman who is much more supreme. Umno is supreme, dominant and they expect all BN component parties ...

Hospital project cracked, another corruption

Image
The construction of the new Shah Alam Hospital which is currently ongoing is facing a crack following a continuous dispute by its contractors. The value of the hospital construction is believed to be costing more than RM482 million is set to stand still if the contractors' financial disputes remain unresolved. It is understood that the sub-contractor GMH Healthcare Sdn Bhd is sending a legal notice of demand to its principal contractor Sunshine Fleet Sdn Bhd to seek the unpaid construction costs which the later had owed for too long. "Satu lagi projek Barisan Nasional" which costs million of Ringgit will soon turned into dust and dirt if the crisis continues. And again the taxpayers' money are simply wasted just like that. A very clear fact that power abuses, mismanagement and corruption are blatantly terrorizing the entire project which is mean for the people's benefit. But what now, the project is stalled, those involved are getting richer and wealthier, and in ...

Congratulations to Penang State Government

Image
Our congratulations to the Penang Pakatan Rakyat State Government under the leadership of Chief Minister and DAP Secretary-General Lim Guan Eng for making the Senior Citizens Appreciation Programme a success in the state. We are certain that the vast majority of the senior citizens in Penang are now enjoying this facility. For those who have yet to register, you are advise to do so as soon as possible at all community and service centres of DAP, PKR and PAS. Congratulations to Guan Eng and his team.

Wake up MCA, MIC, Gerakan, PPP, etc !

Image
The Barisan Nasional (BN) component parties MCA, MIC, Gerakan, PPP, SUPP, LDP, PBS, PRS, Upko are not particularly strong in demonstrating their wills for all Malaysians in reality. Despite Umno's overly extreme racist political measures to regain their Malay grounds, with their sub-contractor Perkasa making round all over our nation citing their discontent on other ethnics and blaming others for the failure of their community to withstand the current political and economic situation, all these BN component parties still failed to see exactly what is happening in the coalition which they had been members for decades. These BN component parties still failed to see that Umno in particular, is making use all of them merely to drum up more racial and hate sentiments. If your leading coalition party (Umno) is still stand by its racist and hate elements, do you think that you are still an effective force to be reckon with in the BN coalition? Do you think that Umno will still listen and ...

A plan for an Umno-Perkasa coalition government?

Image
Is Umno planning to disband its current Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition and abandon all its BN component parties in the next general election and establish a new brand of coalition with Perkasa in order to maintain their control over Putrajaya? Well, none of us know of their detailed plans till today. But what we had seen today, all Perkasa's messages, actions and movements are clearly sanctioned by Umno. Even some senior Umno leaders are seen as office-bearers in the Perkasa supreme council, participating actively in their extreme calls for a more one-race based policy. Umno is calling for "Ketuanan" while Perkasa is calling for a "Greater Race" domination on all sectors in our nation. Whatever Perkasa is doing right now is exactly in tune with Umno who had acted in such away previously. Umno used to raise the weapon "Keris" and threatened the other Malaysians with bloodshed, violence and hatred. And today, the "Keris" was passed over to Per...

PPMM too "menderhaka"

Image
The Malaysian Muslim Lawyers Association (PPMM) today disputed the Sultan of Pahangā€™s decision to commute Kartika Sari Dewi Shukarnorā€™s sentence, saying the rulerā€™s decree may not be in accordance with Islamic law. During the Perak constitutional crisis, Pakatan Rakyat leaders questioned the Sultan of Perak's decision to recognize the Umno-led rebel state government and with an immediate response, Umno quickly labelled the Pakatan leaders as "menderhaka" and even dragged one of the leaders to court and charge him for treason. For Kartika's case, why is Umno keeping so quiet and did not come out to protest PPMM's dispute with the Sultan of Pahang? Just because there are a lot of Umno members in PPMM and its committee. That is very certain. You name it and you get it. Whenever anyone who are not in line with Umno and Barisan Nasional, they are all labelled as "penderhaka" or traitor, while those who are aligned with Umno are treated as nothing wrong eve...

Perak constitutional crisis will prolong

Image
The ongoing constitutional crisis in Perak will prolong as long as the Umno-led rebel state government continue to rule the state in an unconstitutional way. First, they launched a coup d'etat on February 2009 to toppled the legitimate Pakatan state government. Then, later they sealed off the entire state legislative assembly building in order to prevent the State Speaker from convening the sitting session which was supposed to be held. A few months later, they ousted the legitimate State Speaker by bringing in a stranger and a non-state assemblyman to take over the speaker's office by force. Umno called in the security forces to assist them to oust the last Pakatan state assemblyman in public office. A total of three coup d'etats were organized by Umno to ensure they got hold of the entire state administration with their iron fist. State civil servants were threatened if they do not switch their support, which left them with no other choice but to follow what the Umno lead...
