Bersih 2.0 cheated by Najib

In his earlier statement about a week ago, Najib deliberately boosted that there is no need for Bersih 2.0 to rally in the streets as it will disrupt businesses and traffic in the city, so he proposed that Bersih 2.0 could choose any stadium they like and shout it out from inside the stadium.
Then, when Bersih 2.0 decided to call off its planned street rally which is scheduled to be held tomorrow and offer itself to be place inside the stadium, Najib decided to run away from his promises and pass the buck to his home minister and Umno vice-president Hishammuddin Hussein to handle the situation.

The home minister than responded that the government will not even give them a stadium in order for them to rally behind the walls. The rally permit applied earlier has been rejected by the police.
Najib just ran away like a chicken and passes the buck to his cousin Hishammuddin to declare otherwise. Is Najib telling the people that he had a wrong decision during his speech a week ago and didn't dare to retract it for fear of losing face?

And that is why he made Hishammuddin a shameless scapegoat in order for him to escape the embarrassment that he will endure with, should he decided to retract it? The buck is in Hishammuddin's hand right now.
The home minister will use whatever power he has in his hands, the police, the army, the weapons, the tanks and machine guns to ensure the rally does not take place even at the stadium, as promised by Najib earlier.
Here he goes, the police has been mobilized around the city's highways and making a hell on the roads for our people since Monday. Businesses were interrupted, shipments were delayed, doctors were delayed, patients in the hospital are dying, blood supplies did not reach hospitals, surgeries were delayed, consignment of foods and vegetable became rotten, food supplies in the city were emptying and so on.
In order to prevent our people from supporting democracy and calling for electoral reforms, the Umno-led BN federal government is making all its effort it has to ensure our people got very frustrated and suffer as a punishment from diverting our support to all these humanitarian NGOs and the opposition parties.
They are punishing our people because BN was being denied the two thirds majority in the last general elections. They are punishing us because we became aware of our rights. They are punishing us because we demand a wider democracy for our nation and they are punishing us because the BN are afraid of losing their wealth and powers.
Let us all come up together in support of Bersih 2.0 tomorrow 9 July 2011 and after that date, we shall continue to support Bersih 2.0 as long as it still exist and our demands are not met.
Long Live Bersih 2.0 ! Down with BN dictatorship!
