What a double standard police force

When the racially extremist organization Perkasa held violent demonstrations and threatened the people in their rallies which are mostly without any permit, members of the police force who were deployed to control them just stood by and did nothing, just watching and some of the policemen were also seen chatting happily with these racist participants.
May Day, or known as Labour Day internationally, is an annual holiday to celebrate the economic and social achievements of our workers. It is also declared a public holiday by the federal government means that the workers' rights are truly recognized.
For decades, our workers has been celebrating the Labour day with marches, together with banners demanding better rights, wages and working conditions for themselves without much problem from the police force.
The crushing down on such peaceful gatherings by the police started recently due to the fact the ruling BN federal government had indeed felt its insecurity and their political standing has been rocked in the last general election which saw the BN lost its secured two-thirds majority.
And that is why the federal government is using all ways and means to clamp down the rising influence and popularity of the opposition parties, trade unions as well as human rights NGOs who are indeed enjoying increasing support from the population.
Besides, the police crushing on the Labour Day gatherings, coupled with mass arrest of its participants, which includes the Sungai Siput MP also shows that the ruling BN federal government is not doing with it preaches in its main slogan "rakyat didahulukan" and it should be "rakyat dibelakangi".
Why is BN and Umno so afraid of such gatherings? Afraid that the truth shall prevail that they have been oppressing the workers and enriching their ruling elites for all these years? Yeah, they are all afraid that more people will know the truth of this oppressive BN regime.
The price of essential items has been increasing almost every month, and because of that, our costs of living is also shooting up very fast, the food on our table is getting less because we have to save our money, we have to buy less clothings for our children and ourselves, cannot afford better housing nor accommodations, education and other facilities.
Almost what we have today are obtained from bank loans and borrowings from other credit institutions, debtors in our nation are also increasing rapidly.
While our people are suffering from all these "barang naik" experiences almost everyday, the ruling elites in the BN and Umno establishment spend, throw and misuse billions of Ringgit like nobody's business. Just look at their luxurious homes, palatial palaces, foreign wives they married into their household and their above-the-law actions.
The action carried out by the police force to crush the labour gatherings recently shows that this crime fighting organization was not protecting the wellbeing of our people and to ensure the safety and security of our nation at all, but instead serves the ruling elites in the BN and Umno establishment better.
Our livelihoods will be in no better position unless these brutal regime and its police force are replaced.
