Minister said seditious remarks now are a norm

Recently, Umno supreme council member and minister in the prime minister's department Datuk Nazri Aziz told the press that no action can be taken against Perkasa chief Ibrahim Ali over his warnings of violent attacks against the Christian community as such remarks are now a Malaysian norm.

Wow! Is this what the minister from Umno had really said? A very, very indeed a lame explanation or just another lame excuse to do so? And since such seditious remarks had now became a kind of Malaysian norm, does it mean that we all can make insensitive and seditious remarks in reply or to retaliate what the Perkasa leader had said or threatened?

And if this minister's word represents the entire federal government's decision, then let us do it in both open air and in the cyberspace as well. We would like to openly challenge Datuk Nazri in this matter!

Utusan Malaysia with its continuous racist and hate message in its publications, corruption has been going on rampantly and it is not going to be reduced, the crime rate is on the rise, drug abuse is also widespread in our country and so does the "mat rempit" menace, despite so many arrests but all of them somehow did managed to make back on the roads to terrorize other motorist. Is it because all these had became a Malaysian norm and that is why the authorities just let it happen?

So, Datuk Nazri, it shows that you had admitted that all these negative elements in our nation had became a Malaysian norm because they are all produced by Umno and Barisan Nasional (BN) entirely.

You had openly admitted it because they had in actual fact gone out of control and you weren't able to do anything at all because they have been part of your establishment for almost 54 years now.

If Perkasa were to decide one day to despatch its suicide bombers to blow up Chinese temples or Christian churches, then what would say then? Another Malaysian norm? Since racism had became a norm, then violence and hatred too had turned into a norm. That is why Perkasa, Utusan and the other racist NGOs are given the freehand to instill more hatred and threaten the entire population.

That is why they allowed crimes and the "mat rempit" menace to stay there in order to scare our people and would unleash them into the population in order to destabilize the country if our people were to join hands one day to oppose this Umno government one day. And then given that reason, they shall declare a state of emergency so that they could abolish democracy and suspend the parliamentary order.

This is exactly what they had done previously in 1969 during the 10 May opposition victory in the general elections.

Let us stress this straight to the point. For decades until today, the other races have been so tolerant and had in fact refrained from saying anything about Islam despite being continuously threatened, discriminated and being unequally treated, but since it is a norm now as what Datuk Nazri had mentioned, we would like to see what kind of action would be taken if we were to retaliate against Perkasa's threat of war and violence.

Let's say Perkasa wants to send suicide bombers and we want to take up arms to defend ourselves and our families, what will the government do? Arrest those Perkasa suicide bombers or arrest us all because we wanted to defend ourselves?

Can Nazri please answer these questions? Don't hide your head under the sand!
