Has racism spread into education and scholarships?

Meddling in politics with racism, extremism and hatred isn't that enough for Perkasa, Pembela, Perkida or even for GAPS, another new firebrand of extreme racist organization in making.

Failing to get any mass support to rally behind their racist organism, these racists and extremists organizations are now putting their hate jargons into the education systems and scholarship awards as well.

Weeks ago, when several parties highlighted plights of high scorers in SPM and STPM who failed to obtain their government scholarships despite being top in their examination results, these racists and extremists organizations and their leaders were quick to jump into action trying to justify that those scholarship aren't actually for any bright students.

It was DAP who first highlighted the plight of these high scorers who were denied their rightful scholarships, then MCA jumped into the wagon and telling our people that they will help to fix thing up while warning DAP not to highlight these issues again as these cases doesn't belongs to them in the first place.

The MCA youth chief, a deputy minister himself then traded barbs with an Umno supreme council member who is also a cabinet minister on this issue arguing that someone in the Public Service Department (PSD) must take responsibility on this scholarship fiasco.

Not wanting to miss all these issue, Perkasa, Pembela, Perkida and GAPS then parachuted into the scene and held some sort of show in support of Umno, by announcing that these government scholarships were actually only for bumiputras in accordance to the Federal Constituton.

Perhaps there are really some big gaps in the minds and brains of all these Perkasa, Pembela, Perkida and GAPS leaders. They are all really out of their mind and their brains would really need some kind of surgery or maybe an electrifying shock in order to ensure their blood start flowing into their head again.

In this country, all of us know and we cannot even deny that it was the majority of our non-bumiputra Malaysians who have been paying their income tax most. Just look at all those high flyers in the corporate and business entities in our nation. Aren't the majority of them are non-bumiputras? With a glance, everyone of us would definitely say yes! This cannot be denied at all.

So, leaders of Perkasa, Pembela, Perkida and GAPS, we want to ask you all this question. While all of us "pendatangs" who have been loyally paying our income tax annually without question, you all want only bumiputras to have the sole rights to enjoy the government scholarships. It this what you all want? We take out our own money and we don't even have the right to enjoy even part of it?

It is so simple! The so-called leaders of all these Perkasa, Pembela, Perkida and GAPS are still dreaming in the day and in denial mode as well.

Just imagine, if they were to rule this country with their preached racist and extremist policies, what will happen to our nation then. It would be like the Nazis going after the Jews, the Khmer Rouge purging the entire nation and converting it into a jungle, innocent people may be rounded up and send to concentration camps or torture chambers.

God Chirst sake, these Perkasa, Pembela, Perkida and GAPS are really looking forward for these episode. To purge the entire nation and reduce it into a mass killing field. Ethnic cleansing and so on.

With MCA, MIC, Gerakan, PPP and SUPP still struggling in the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition, we want to ask them, where are their balls and guts? Why don't you all prove that you are all "anak jantan" by censoring Umno and pressuring them into making the 1Malaysia into a reality instead of a mere joke?

Well, we knew that you all will not have the guts and balls to prove yourselves as "anak jantan" just because you all wanted to keep your government positions and wealths safely under your arms.

You can forget of getting any votes from us anyway!

EC should ask ROS to register Pakatan quickly

The Election Commission (EC) had recently advised the current opposition pact, Pakatan Rakyat comprising PAS, PKR and DAP, to register their coalition so that they could use their logo in the coming general election. EC deputy chairman Datuk Wan Ahmad Wan Omar said the coalition should be registered because the opposition parties were always seen violating regulations of the election campaign, especially on the use of their logo. Datuk Wan Ahmad seems to be overly ignorant and too forgetful on this issue. The EC deputy chairman should ask the Registrar of Societies (ROS) to quickly register the Pakatan instead of calling on Pakatan to register itself. Pakatan Rakyat had earlier send in their formal application to register itself as a coalition of political parties since November 2009 and ROS has yet to register the said entity till today after delaying and creating so many hassles for more than a year. USM fiasco a shame

I read and heard with irritation and felt disgusted with the fiasco committed by the apex status university called Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) which caused untold anguish to the affected students and their parents. If this happened in Japan, the Vice-Chancellor would have done the honourable thing - take full responsibilty and leave, but here in Malaysia, as expected, the blame is shifted here and there, trying to make someone a scapegoat. By the way, would there be any racist or sabotage elements involved? Those who are responsible for this fiasco should be sacked or expelled immediately.

Federal Constitution that Safeguards the Legitimate Rights and Interest of All Malaysians

The provisions of the Federal Constitution are very clear. It confirmed the position of the Malay Rulers, Islam as an official religion of the federation and special position of the Malays and the natives in Sabah and Sarawak whilst recalling that those provisions balance those special positions with safeguards to protect the legitimate rights and interests of the other communities in Malaysia which also includes their right to profess and practice their religions freely without being fear of any threats or being harmed by anybody. The legitimate interests of the non-Malays and non-Muslims would include, amongst others: a) Article 153 (9) says that business or trade cannot be solely reserved only for the Malays, b) Article 3 (1) says that the official religion of the federation is Islam BUT other religions are also allowed to be practiced in peace and harmony in any part of the federation.
