Wider scope inquiry commission most welcome by MCA
We remember that during the funeral of Beng Hock, MCA promised to pushed for the Royal Commission of Inquiry to investigate the death of the political aide to the Selangor state executive councillor.
But when a less effective magistrate's inquest came into picture and dragged the case for more than one year, the MCA and its leaders are nowhere to be seen at all to show their commitment and to pressure the federal government to take drastic action to resolve this case.
Then when the magistrate's inquest released its verdict and found that Beng Hock was neither murdered nor committed suicide, MCA was quick to come out in support of the verdict saying that there is no need for any further effort to establish Royal Commission of Inquiry onto this case anymore.
And when the prime minister recently decided to establish the Royal Commission of Inquiry and to widen its scope of investigation onto Beng Hock's death, besides investigating the method and procedures used by MACC to interrogate people, MCA also quickly came out to support and welcomed the move.
So what is MCA's actual direction now? First you said you are committed to push, then you said its enough - this one will do, then you said there is no need at all and now you welcome the move.
It shows that you only support and lean to where it benefits you. MCA didn't actually have a clear direction to go to, be it politically nor socially. So, what actually are you all fighting for?
Are you all really defending the Malaysian Chinese? Are you all merely fighting against those who wear gloves? And when Umno decided that it is enough, you are just a scapegoat in Umno's racist political power plays.
One more question. Where were you when some desperate people or victims were out there need some help because of Umno's rising racism and extremism? It's simple, you just ran away!
