1Malaysia truly a hate and disunity concept

Throughout the end of the year 2010, BN chairman and prime minister Datuk Najib Razak again shown the true colours of 1Malaysia to our people.

On 25 December 2010, that is Christmas Day, the Christian Federation of Malaysia (CFM) had invited Najib to their Christmas Day celebration in Bukit Nanas and gues what, Najib accepted the invitation.

But that invitation didn't come as a happy one as it was expected by the CFM leaders and the Christian communities. Prior to Najib's arrival, his senior officials had deliberately instructed CFM and church officials to take down the crucifixes and the other Christian symbols that was displayed at the celebration's ground.

Apart from that the hymns and prayers event arranged for that day was also banned, as instructed by the senior officials of the prime minister's department.

In the name of 1Malaysia, Najib was working against the spirit of unity by attempting to de-Christianize the Christmas Day celebration.

If Najib was so uncomfortable with the crucifixes, Christian symbols and the hymns as well as the prayers, then we can only conclude that he is not a prime minister for all Malaysians regardless of race, religion or culture. It only confirmed that he is the prime minister for only Umno or BN.

Is Najib, his officials and the rest of the Umno leaders are also weak in their faith that the mere sight of the cross, crucifix or the recitation of prayers and singing of hymns would eventually cause them to convert to Christianity or undermine their Islamic beliefs.

So, this is again 1Malaysia, where Umno's (not Malay) supremacy over all religions. All religions must submit and become a subservient to the supremacy cause of Umno.

Then came another 1Malaysia hate concept. This time it was from an Umno-owned newspaper Utusan Malaysia who called on all readers to hate, hate, hate and nothing else but hate!

In the name of 1Malaysia, Utusan called on the people to hate Serdang MP Teo Nie Ching for attending and gracing a mosque's official event because they alleged that her attire was too tight, sexy and her entire body was "exposed" to all those Muslims out there.

This is what Najib called his 1Malaysia! Full of hate, threats and attempt violence, wanted to reign supreme over the others, thus causing interracial discords.

In aftermath, come yet another 1Malaysia's last project for the year 2010. This time is to create some chaos and tension in Selangor by the prime minister and BN chairman who instructed the chief secretary to the federal government Sidek Hassan to name a new Selangor state secretary without having need to consult the Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim.

The entire Selangor state government were in the dark about Najib and Sidek's initial plan to appoint a federal candidate to the crucial state position. This was Najib's plan to bring down the Pakatan Rakyat state government by planting one of its own in the state administration in order to initiate a systematic sabotage from within. Najib wanted to take the industrialized state back into Umno's fold by force as he knew the people had entirely rejected the party.

1Malaysia truly a hate and disunity concept. Behind 1Malaysia, it is 1Umno, 1BN and 1Israel. So, let us all be aware of such propaganda and not to trust such a lie anymore. 1Malaysia is a symbol of destruction to our nation.

EC should ask ROS to register Pakatan quickly

The Election Commission (EC) had recently advised the current opposition pact, Pakatan Rakyat comprising PAS, PKR and DAP, to register their coalition so that they could use their logo in the coming general election. EC deputy chairman Datuk Wan Ahmad Wan Omar said the coalition should be registered because the opposition parties were always seen violating regulations of the election campaign, especially on the use of their logo. Datuk Wan Ahmad seems to be overly ignorant and too forgetful on this issue. The EC deputy chairman should ask the Registrar of Societies (ROS) to quickly register the Pakatan instead of calling on Pakatan to register itself. Pakatan Rakyat had earlier send in their formal application to register itself as a coalition of political parties since November 2009 and ROS has yet to register the said entity till today after delaying and creating so many hassles for more than a year. USM fiasco a shame

I read and heard with irritation and felt disgusted with the fiasco committed by the apex status university called Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) which caused untold anguish to the affected students and their parents. If this happened in Japan, the Vice-Chancellor would have done the honourable thing - take full responsibilty and leave, but here in Malaysia, as expected, the blame is shifted here and there, trying to make someone a scapegoat. By the way, would there be any racist or sabotage elements involved? Those who are responsible for this fiasco should be sacked or expelled immediately.

Federal Constitution that Safeguards the Legitimate Rights and Interest of All Malaysians

The provisions of the Federal Constitution are very clear. It confirmed the position of the Malay Rulers, Islam as an official religion of the federation and special position of the Malays and the natives in Sabah and Sarawak whilst recalling that those provisions balance those special positions with safeguards to protect the legitimate rights and interests of the other communities in Malaysia which also includes their right to profess and practice their religions freely without being fear of any threats or being harmed by anybody. The legitimate interests of the non-Malays and non-Muslims would include, amongst others: a) Article 153 (9) says that business or trade cannot be solely reserved only for the Malays, b) Article 3 (1) says that the official religion of the federation is Islam BUT other religions are also allowed to be practiced in peace and harmony in any part of the federation.
