Wishing all my family, friends and readers a great Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Enjoy your weekend and holidays then!

Fighter jet engine stolen from RMAF base

The police had arrested four individuals, including RMAF officers, in connection with the disappearance of an F-5E fighter jet engine worth about RM50 million from an air force base. This case should be classified as a threat to the national security. We want the defence minister, who is also the Penang Umno liaison chairman Datuk Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to explain to the people on the missing jet engine which was discovered recently and why did it happened? Ahmad Zahid, you already lost a fighter jet engine. Are you going to have our entire military arsenals, tanks, MRLS, fighter jets and naval vessels go missing in future in the hands of the unknowns? You are just letting our taxpayers money draining off like nobody's business and putting the national security of our nation into jeopardy. Ahmad Zahid, you did not place your importance in preserving the national security and the safety of our people in this country, but you are only interested in fighting to gain more political positio...

Pakatan supports Royal Commission on Religion

Image
The Pakatan Rakyat has agreed to a common policy to form a Royal Commission to deal with religious issues. According to its Common Policy Framework document released today, the coalition of three parties will also defend the position of Islam as the religion of the federation, as provided for by the constitution. ā€œPakatan Rakyat vows to set up a comprehensive mechanism to provide just resolution to cases which involve the overlap of civil and syariah laws, including a Royal Commission to deeply study all relevant issues,ā€ said the policy statement expected to be endorsed by some 1,500 coalition PR convention delegates later today. The proposal is seen as a giant step forward for PR as similar proposal ā€” to set up the Inter Faith Commission (IFC) by the Malaysian Consultative Council Of Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism and Sikhism (MCCBCHS) in 2001. This is a very good framework to begin with. Never heard of it during the Umno dominated Barisan Nasional (BN) reign. Even Gerakan...

Can we achieve a Real 1Malaysia?

The question here is can Najib and the Barisan Nasional (BN) federal government which is dominated by Umno achieve what it claimed the 1Malaysia concept? Ever since the launch of 1Malaysia concept, the prime minister and Umno president had asked for suggestions on how we can attain this very elusive objective. All this while, the Umno-led BN coalition had emphasize the importance of nation building, national unity, multiculturalism, racial integration and harmonious living society. But did they really carry out their efforts sincerely and wholeheartedly? Did they really go all out and work hard to ensure the nationā€™s unity is preserved at all cost? Did they really act fairly and justly to ensure those who came up with racist jargons, threatening other races with bloodshed and wanted to repeat the 13 May incident are brought to the court of law, punished and imprisoned? We all knew it, saw it and heard what are being said and pledged in the Umno general assembly few years back, where it...

A narrow minded Speaker

The Dewan Rakyat speaker Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia had criticise the Pakatan Rakyat parliamentarians for taking advantage of the absent BN members of parliament by initiating an attempt to defeat the 2010 budget recently. Is Pandikar denying the democratic practice by putting the blame on Pakatan Rakyat. If the BN MPs are absent, were that all Pakatan Rakyat's fault? Come on, you do speak like a man at all nor acting as a real parliamentary speaker. You try to deny the MPs' right to cast their vote for and against any bill. MPs debate, analyse and speak on tabled laws and bills on behalf of the people who voted them into the parliament. Therefore, Pandikar has no right to criticise the Pakatan Rakyat MPs' move to vote against the budget. This is their democratic rights. We wish to advise Pandikar, if you are ignorant of the basic democratic principles, then resign from your speaker's bench and let someone else perform.

Who is unethical? Utusan or the bloggers?

Recently, the home minister Datuk Hishamuddin Hussein complained and condemned bloggers for running critical stories and reports about the BN and the federal government. We do not know if he is pretending or really did not know the real situation. Doesn't he know that Utusan Malaysia, which is wholly-owned by Umno is the most threatening in this nation? That means, Datuk Hishamuddin's attitude and viewpoint over the current political scenario is hypocritical. He is pretending as if Utusan Malaysia is very responsible and it was the bloggers who are finding fault with the nation. Well, all of us knew it. It was Utusan Malaysia who likes to stir up racial tensions, hatred and creating chaos in our nation. They played with one's ethnicity, religions, promoting hatred and suspicion amonngst our multiracial communities, they are hoping to see 13 May incident to repeat and kept on writting on the subject to warn the entire nation to be more "careful" or else the people ...

Disband BTN and use its allocations to help the poor and provide scholarships to our children

Image
Why want to waste another round of public funds to revamp the racist oriented Biro Tata Negara (BTN) or should we call it Bureau of Terrorist and Neurotics? Is it possible for BTN to reform and rejuvenate into a real organization to promote national unity? It is too late now to revamp the BTN. This organization is very sick and staffed with facilitators and trainers who are insane going all out to promote hatred, sinned the other communities, telling the bumiputras to disbelieve their non-bumiputra friends, colleagues, coursemates, classmates, neighbours and treat them with suspicions. BTN is also an Umnoā€™s effective tool to tell the young graduates, new civil servants and our scholars that those who oppose BN and Umno are enemies of the state, traitors to the nation and all sorts of disunity jargons. So with all these indoctrination programs carried out by BTN all this while, can BTN really repent from all its sinful acts and be a good organization again. It is not possible anymore an...

Umno to reinstate racist Ahmad as division chairman

The Umno supreme council had recently decided to reinstate Ahmad Ismailā€™s party membership and return him his chairmanship in the Bukit Bendera Umno division, thus reducing his suspension by just only one year. And with the Umno leadership decision, Ahmad is getting more supreme and arrogant. Umno members of Bukit Bendera division are treating him like a king, warlord or even master of all. He is now the powerful man in the Penang Barisan Nasional machinery. We would like to ask Gerakan president Senator Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon, MCA president Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat and PPP president Datuk M.Kayveas, how do you all feel about Ahmad Ismailā€™s release from his membership suspension? You are keeping quiet because all of you are still in a state of shock and do not know what to do about it! Accept the facts. Any Umno division chairmen are much more greater in status then simply any BN component party presidents of Gerakan, MCA, MIC, PPP, PBS, PBRS, UPKO, SPDP, PRS, SUPP and PBB. To these Um...

DAP assemblyman owns up to malicious SMS, what about Umno, Gerakan, MCA, etc?

Sungai Pinang DAP assemblyman Koid Teng Guan has admitted and apologised for forwarding a short-message service (SMS) text belittling the Barisan Nasional to over 400 people during the state assembly sitting on Tuesday. Koid said he regretted his action as it was inappropriate for him, as an elected representative, to do so. ā€œI sincerely apologise and I will not repeat the act; forwarding the inappropriate message that joked about my political opponents,ā€ he said at a press conference held in the state assembly building, here, today. The SMS, believed to have originated from a Pakatan Rakyat supporter, belittled the BN component parties and urged people to send them to hell. State executive councillor Phee Boon Poh, Pulau Tikus assemblyman Koay Teng Hai, Chief Minister Lim Guan Engā€™s political secretary Ng Wei Aik and Tanjung Bungah assemblyman Teh Yee Cheu were also present at the press conference to lend support to Koid and to extend the stateā€™s regrets over the matter. Meanwhile, St...

Penang assembly suspends Umno rep after he refuses to say sorry

Penang Umno secretary Datuk Azhar Ibrahim was again suspended from the Penang state assembly sitting today after he refused to apologise in connection with an allegation that he exposed his buttocks to Sim Tze Tzin (DAP-Pantai Jerjak) yesterday. Azhar (BN-Penaga) is alleged to have committed the offence while leaving the assembly after Deputy Speaker Tan Hock Leong ordered him to leave for refusing to retract a term that he had used when debating the 2010 budget yesterday. We are disappointed, very disappointed with such action, where a state assemblyman who called himself a YB or Yang Berhormat shown a disgusting and immoral example in a place of honour. In fact, the speaker should also suspend Azhar from some sitting instead of only this session to teach them a lesson and to tell them how wrong are they to cordone into such a "kurang ajar" characters. Anyway, this is the style of these Umno warlords who often demonstrate their "ketuanan" or supremacist ideas. Firs...
