Umno to reinstate racist Ahmad as division chairman
The Umno supreme council had recently decided to reinstate Ahmad Ismail’s party membership and return him his chairmanship in the Bukit Bendera Umno division, thus reducing his suspension by just only one year.
And with the Umno leadership decision, Ahmad is getting more supreme and arrogant. Umno members of Bukit Bendera division are treating him like a king, warlord or even master of all. He is now the powerful man in the Penang Barisan Nasional machinery.
We would like to ask Gerakan president Senator Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon, MCA president Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat and PPP president Datuk M.Kayveas, how do you all feel about Ahmad Ismail’s release from his membership suspension? You are keeping quiet because all of you are still in a state of shock and do not know what to do about it!
Accept the facts. Any Umno division chairmen are much more greater in status then simply any BN component party presidents of Gerakan, MCA, MIC, PPP, PBS, PBRS, UPKO, SPDP, PRS, SUPP and PBB. To these Umno divisional heads, these party presidents in the BN fold are just like their running dogs who only follow whenever their master goes.
We want to throw the challenge to Gerakan, MCA or PPP to quit the BN coalition in order to protest the revival of an Umno racist. Are you all willing to quit the BN coalition for the sake of justice and national unity?
Umno’s decision to reinstate Ahmad’s positions in the party also shows that Umno is still holding to its ketuanan melayu ideology and insincere about the 1Malaysia concept. We must remember that Ahmad called all non-bumiputras who are residing in Malaysia as “pendatang” and temporary residents.
We must also remember, just because of Ahmad’s racist jargons, a Sin Chew reporter was unjustly detained under the Internal Security Act for no reasons. We also remember very well that Ahmad’s supporters tore down the photograph of the Gerakan president and humiliated Dr Koh by having his picture torn into pieces and stepped upon.
And if Dr Koh has forgotten, we wish to remind him again how bad he was being treated by an Umno division chairman. Are you going to “kow tow” to this guy who once denounced you for upholding your “principle”?
If you are really with the people, then quit BN now and rest assure we will support Gerakan again! However we doubt him. He didn’t want to lose his ministerial post just like that.
