MCA hates DAP for its electoral defeat
At the start of the MCA annual general assembly, the party's placards are flying everywhere from the road leading to Wisma MCA then inside the building the party's message of hate (towards DAP) continues to flare blatantly.
In what we saw some banners in blue saying that "MCA promotes peace" while the other banner which is in red states "DAP incites hatred". Who is actually inciting hatred over here?
Looks like the MCA's general assembly which is ongoing is going to be another Umno-liked Pakatan bashing event instead of mapping out their party's program for our people to review and at the same time revealing their plans for the next general elections.
Political bashing and hatred would not do MCA or any of its leaders any good. Just like the previous Umno general assemblies, all day round, speeches by the party delegates are full of bashing and hatred towards their rivals in the opposition front, instead of laying out their plans for the people and the country.
Is it because, like Umno, MCA has nothing else to offer about to the people, especially the Chinese community and the country as well? On community's educational issues (we are not going to further elaborate), MCA is still at the lost and had until today failed to show the Chinese community the actual direction of the party on this issue.
The mystery behind the PKFZ scandal still remain unresolved despite the ongoing trial of its former party president Tun Dr Ling Liong Sik.
Social justice is also one of the challenges that the Chinese community is still facing till today. Has MCA done anything to address these issues. On many occasions, we often heard MCA president Dr Chua Soi Lek came up in defiant on certain issues which regards to the community's subject.
But what about the rest of the MCA leaders? We heard nothing from them. MCA youth chief Wee Ka Siong is the worst of all. Many Chinese associations and assembly halls had openly condemn Wee as a traitor to the Chinese community. The rest, are very quiet and never even speak up for the community at large. Too busy with their daily government routine (most of these MCA leaders are ministers, deputy ministers, state executive councillors and directors of GLCs).
On Hudud, the MCA president keeps on repeating that it was DAP who is supporting it, when he actually knew that some quarters from within Umno are also in favour of this Syariah law to be implemented in this country.
For instance, in Trengganu, the state government under Umno has yet to abolish the Hudud implementation in the state. So, what on earth is the sole MCA state executive councillor doing over there in the state? Why isn't Dr Chua come up to voice his opposition against the Hudud system in Trengganu? Instead the MCA leader keeps on blaming DAP over the Hudud threat. Hypocrites indeed!
Then, about MCA's massive defeat in the last general elections, why is the party keep on blaming DAP for its defeat? IS MCA still in denial mode, refusing to accept that the party is really weakening in terms of power, influence, ability and relevance? Blaming DAP for its defeat citing wrong message were being send to the Chinese community is not a good reason.
Being in the BN coalition, MCA has enjoy a great deal of media coverage in the television channels, radios and even newspapers. This means the mainstream media's support and coverage for MCA is rather widespread. So, why is MCA blaming DAP for all the wrong message that the Chinese community had gotten from the later? Absurd, very absurd.
If MCA really hates DAP so much for its electoral defeat, then it is clearly proven that MCA had became irrelevant in the eyes of the general public at large. In this case, stop Partying and Go Home!
